Salon Marquis

I adore this place. I found it years ago on an ad on Craigslist while looking for a reiki massage. It was amazing. I had the full massage, a facial, and card reading for only $ 80! I currently live in California and would die to find a place this amazing out here. :)

The place is cute. The windows are covered with a castle façade. There is a knight by the door. The best part is the shampoo room and the scalp massage. Very relaxing. I went in last minute because my usual person was oot. The color was nice. The cut was okay. I asked for it to be ironed out (my hair gets really frizzy with a blowdryer so I need it to be flat ironed afterwards) and it wasn’t smooth and sleek like I typically get from almost every salon I’ve been to before. It still looked frizzy. The owner was talking to another client and was very negative (she did a great job with the hair though) and it made the experience uncomfortable. That probably won’t matter to most, but I like to be around good vibes.
