My husband and I have been working out here now for a couple months now. We are super impressed. We have Scott as our personal trainer, he does an amazing job. Pushes us to our max and knows how to direct us and encourage us perfectly.
All of the staff are very personable. The prices are very affordable, especially compared to other gyms.
The restroom area and work out area is also always clean.
It’s also a very diverse gym which makes me feel comfortable and I never feel like I’m being judged.
I would recommend the most fit people to those that need guidance to give this gym a shot! I will never go anywhere else!

I don’t know what this place is like as far as a place to workout, but I can tell you these people are dishonest, cheating and lacking integrity when it comes to their relationship with substitute instructors. The managers are rarely there and when they are there, they are rude and inconsiderate. My mom subbed for one of their instructors recently. It took them THREE MONTHS to pay her after MULTIPLE attempts to contact managers and MULTIPLE trips to the facility. When they finally paid her, they didn’t even pay her the amount they said they would. It takes my mother 40 mins to drive there one way so after as many times as she had to drive there just to get paid, AND getting ripped off she made a little more than half of what they promised her. I would not advise anyone to sub for this company unless you can afford to WORK FOR FREE! They say no good deed goes unpunished… Haggling with a nasty, tightfisted company to get paid for doing someone a favor was definitely punishment enough! DO NOT WORK FOR THESE PEOPLE!!!

I would give this place a less than 0 if I could, if for no other reason than POOR Customer service. The staff is rude and they don’t seem to know where or when anyone one is supposed to be there (trainers, Message Therapists, Managers, etc… Their scheduling sucks.
I joined their massage club after purchasing a Groupon. I enjoyed the massages I received by Kyle, but then Kyle left and I have had a problem receiving a good massage (my opinion). I have several problems with scheduling; appointments no being booked.
I agree with the person that mentioned the dirty (SMELLY) sheets.
I called in and asked that my massage membership be canceled back in February 2015 only to be told I had to come in to the facility to do this; I did and was told the manager needed to be there and he was not. I then called again only to be told the same thing, this time the manager was there and the guy at the front desk was told to cancel my membership. I was charged another month after that. I again called in and this time spoke with the manager; who by the way is EXTREMELY RUDE. He finally cancelled my membership and sent me a piece of paper, but not until after I was charged for yet another month. I asked him to schedule out all my massages (5 in total) so I could be done; this never happened.
I had one massage by Katie (she is pretty good) I tried but was never able to book them all out with her and when we needed to reschedule one she failed to put me on her schedule I showed up; she was not there and already had someone else scheduled in the time slot she had changed me to (this had already happened to me twice before).
I currently still have 4 massages @ $ 39 each that I now just want my money back. I have gone down there, called and been told that the owner Bruce or his son Brad would call me the next day (this did not happen), called to leave a message was told by a very rude young person that they were not there and there was no way to leave them a message. Called back 5 days later to be sent to Bruce’s voice mail. Left a message; finally received a call back from Brad and he is going to refund my money. I will change the rating when I see the credit to my card.

Nice little gym with friendly staff, and very clean. Great variety of equipment, but they refuse to keep it cool in there. Would be an easy five stars if they would listen to everyone in there and keep the AC running. I don’t mind sweat, but it would be cooler outside on a hot summer day. I

Hidden Gem. This is all you need in a gym. It’s a great place to get a workout for a great price. I consider this the best bang for your buck. Your not paying for all the stuff you don’t use. The staff is always helpful and friendly. They could use another squat rack but that’s about it. I’ve never had to wait for any machines or a bench. I would recommend Prestige to anyone.

I’m surprised by the negative reviews of Prestige Fitness! It isn’t the best gym, but overall it’s a great sized gym that isn’t too crowded when we go. We joined it just for convenience, it’s close (even walking distance) to where my husband and I live. We typically work out on the weekends there, but also have been there afterwork a few times. The membership is $ 10/​person/​month, which we thought was a great rate and they have a good mix of cardio machines, weight machines, and free weights. We don’t have the upgraded membership to include classes (I think that is $ 10 more a month), so I can’t comment on the quality or value of those (but the classes we see always seem to be popular).
We’ve never been there when all of the machines are in use, and while there’s typically always people there, it never seems crowded. There are a few minor problems, like some of the individual TVs on the machines don’t work (or are fuzzy), but overall it’s a good gym — especially for the value! I’ve noticed a few times that weight machines are sometimes «out of order,» but they’re always fixed by the next time I go back — so they prioritize fixing those quickly.
One of the great things is you can add an «unlimited guest» to your account for only $ 10/​month (and they prorate it based on when you start/​stop it). So, if you have guests or visitors who like to workout, it’s a great way to get an inexpensive guest pass — just be sure to cancel it when they leave so you’re not charged for additional months. Note that you have to be there when the guest/​visitor works out.

This review is for the Prestige Fitness on Arapahoe. Seems a few previous reviews may have been for another location in Arvada.
The gym is a good size with a lot of equipment and free weights. Always seems to be clean and not overly crowded. Almost exactly what I was looking for in a gym close to my house (there is no basketball court).
$ 10/​month advertised which is legit but a small catch. $ 50 initiation, and another $ 40 each December for maintenance I believe. Never understood these fees but still much better than any other option. Only other thing I would say is that dumbbells and plates are never really in order. Part blame on the members, part blame on the staff.
All in all it’s a great gym that is affordable. Checked out all in the area and this wins out. They have other amenities I have not reviewed as I have not used them (kids area, massage room, classes, trainers).

I really do love this gym, for so many reasons. The price, for sure as I pay only $ 9.95 a month for the basic membership, but I am considering adding the classes to my membership, as they have recently introduced so many unique options. They have friendly staff and it is never too crowded. Would highly recommend this gym.

It’s a decent sized gym with many amenities, but any time I’ve ever called — whether it be to ask about class times, to gather general info, or to set up/​cancel appointments — I am ALWAYS treated poorly. I’ve been transferred to dead ends, connected to other callers (that one still baffles me), or told to call back because they didn’t want to take the message at that time. Yes, the guy actually told me to call back because he didn’t want to take the message. The membership fees are ridiculous and the trainer fees are worse. Not worth it. I look forward to joining the local YMCA just up the road (Arvada location).

The yoga instructor Bill at Arvada is super creepy — -I can’t see how Prestige can continue to have him teaching yoga when he continually uses language such as F**K, B**T cheeks, nipples, and other like words. He stomps around the class in-​between yogis constantly talking when yoga is suppose to be a quiet experience – it’s really creepy and uncomfortable. Makes me feel slimy after doing his class… well, obviously I won’t be doing any more of his classes. Core Power Yoga is the bes and there is no comparison. Even after repeated complaints to management, his behavior remains unchecked… so much for management taking an interest in feedback from their members. The latest remarks were made to the manager John on 3/24/14…I got the feeling my feedback would go nowehere (again).

I joined Prestige about a year ago. I had just moved to West Arvada and it was too far to continue going to the gym I had been going to in Broomfield. Of course, they were welcoming at first and I was excited to get back into Zumba again. What I’ve experienced over the last year is nothing but a meat market with people trying to hook up. This was like being back at Bally’s again with the beautiful, skinny people who look like they don’t even need to work out. The Zumba instructor on Monday and Wednesday nights was very full of herself and would barely talk during the class. I always thought Zumba was supposed to be high energy, well not those classes. The substitute instructor was great and I was hoping they would hire her permanently which they did, part-​time. Yes, I am overweight and that’s why I go to the gym, but I never really felt welcome at Prestige. I felt like it was only the place for the pretty and the skinny to prance around in their latest outfits. Thank God I found another gym/​bootcamp that is definitely for me.

Don’t bother. This place is so crowded with kids running around that appear to be age 8 – 16. The place is a zoo! Little kids bench pressing in the squat rack, playing on equipment they have no clue about, etc. Seriously, if you like crowded rec centers, you will love this gym. It’s a rec center atmosphere where families bring their kids and teens who hang out all over the place getting in your way. Oh and the facility itself is very big but there are not many free weights. The lack of free weights translates to a very crowded free weight area. Why the lack of free weights? The place has more TVs than free weight equipment! You must wait for equipment during peak hours and /​or battle ignorant members who butt in without asking. Even the personal trainers there butt in without asking. It appears they now have resorted to running Groupons to sign up as many people as possible no matter what their age is. Ahh great, more clueless kids running around! This place is a joke!

I bought a Groupon for this gym back in January and went in to redeem it in mid-​July. It was a one-​month gym membership for $ 14, and nowhere in the fine print did it say anything about needing to pay the first and last month’s dues. However, I was quickly hit up for these, despite my insistence that I am a student and was only in the area temporarily and didn’t exactly know how my schedule would be for the next year. I was hoping to just use the Groupon for a month and not get tied to anything. Granted, they eventually agreed to this, but the fact that I even had to ask if I could simply use the $ 14 Groupon and be done is dumb. I went here once and decided not to come back. Nice, new facility, but they need to be more clear on their «deals.»

I had a coupon for a 29 $ massage for first timers. Will not go back. You can hear people working out when laying on the table — massage lasted 50 min. — not 1 hour — did not like the louder music in the massage room but worse was the dirty sheet I discovered after getting up … 2 big brownish/​red spots !

I joined this gym and it seemed nice and it’s inexpensive. I purchased personal training sessions and had one of the worst experiences of my life. The trainer was an arrogant little punk. I am 42 years old and he would be so inappropriate with me. Once, he spread his legs full eagle on a thigh machine and told me it was a karma sutra pose. He was 8 minutes late the next time, so I complained. Chris Calvin, another punk, gave me a new trainer and some free sessions. I get there and can’t find the trainer. It’s now after my scheduled time. I ask someone if they know where he is, they don’t. So, I decided to leave. Chris Calvin claims that he wasn’t late (even though he wasn’t there) and that I said something mean to the trainer – THE ONE WHO WASN’T THERE, so he’s keeping my $ 720 dollars and I am not getting any more sessions, even though I paid for them. Chris Calvin is a punk and a crook. I’ve tried to call the owner, Bruce Banks and he refuses to take my calls. I filed a complaint with the State Attorney General and I will sue them if I have to. Stay away and beware!!!

Two problems led me to leave Prestige:
First, my five year old son broke his collarbone while under the «supervision» of their kids club. No incident report was given to me and no one called me to check on my son. Rude for a place that claims to know you by name and offers a smaller, more connected atmosphere. DO NOT TRUST them with your children!!! My son might need surgery now and will not be able to do much for the next 12 weeks. They often have left infants sitting on the floor while the older kids just run around inches from the babies. Not safe and very irresponsible.
Second, upon returning to talk with someone about my son’s injury, they told me that when I swiped my badge it had an alert on their computer. I owed over $ 200 because the card I originally gave them expired. Now i know I owe them that money and am not disagreeing with that, but c’mon it took them 6 months to tell me because the girl at the counter said it was alerting since June. No one had stopped me before nor did i receive a phone call or letter.
There are other options in the area that are more deserving of your business.

LOVE THIS GYM!!! On my 3^rd week here and so far better than expected. I live close by and have been «shopping» around local fitness centers. I looked into Lifetime Fitness, 24 Hour Fitness — Southglenn and Prestige Fitness. I felt like Goldilocks trying out each place. Lifetime too large and overwhelming, 24 Hour Fitness too pricey but very nice with the pool, steam room and sauna but just too much for what I was looking for as I’m not looking to live at the gym — just get in, do my time and get on with my life. Prestige is a perfect fit for me. First, it’s small and welcoming. A little hidden gem in this area. The people working there are always friendly and helpful. The equipment is top of the line and there is plenty for everyone to use so you are never waiting in line for 30 mins like I’ve experienced at other 24 Hour Fitness centers (not Southglenn though). They have decently priced training sessions which you can share with a spouse, relative or friend which I think is a plus as I’m not a fan of the gym but when you have a partner in crime joining you it makes it a little better. They also will soon be offering massage therapy which I think is a great idea! Monthly fees are low and there is no contract. I hear they will be opening other locations in Denver soon so keep your eyes peeled for one in your area! One last note: Their classes are awesome! They aren’t packed and you don’t have to get there an hour early to attend (AHEM — 24 Hour Fitness). They have a great mix of classes including Zumba and TurboKick and Pilates plus a kick butt cycle room. Only request is that they add a couple other evening classes during the week for us that go to the gym after our 9 – 5. Try it for a week on their guest pass and I know you won’t be disappointed!

This gym has Matrix equipment. Everything is brand new and state of the art. They have a abb machine like know other. Another unique feature is a machine thet runs HZ frequency through your muscles. This is key in anti ageing. tThe machines fit like a glove and its a clean upscale atmosphere that provides a full line of suppliments and the price was all so nice.
