History

Established in 1983.

In October of 1982 Debbie began to market her pies and cakes to restaurants in the metro Denver area, eventually serving 27 restaurants. In September of 1983 Manna Bakery opened its first retail location on Historic Rapp Street in downtown Littleton. Within 3 years, it had outgrown the little 700 sq ft house with the banging screen door and moved nearby to the Woodlawn Shopping Center. It was a thriving location, surrounded by numerous apartment buildings and office complexes. After 17 years, family reasons prompted the sale of Manna Bakery & Deli. In January of 2000, Chadwick moved back to Indiana and tried several other career moves. But baking and business is her forte. After 12 years of absence from the bakery, her daughter Eve who was only 2 when the bakery began in 1983 is now her business partner. Their new location at Broadway & Ridge Rd was opened in June of 2012 serving all the old favorites, plus a growing assortment of healthy options including wheat and «gluten free.»
