Littleton Knowledge Beginnings

I cannot say enough how happy I am with Knowledge Beginnings in Grant Ranch. My son has been in the infant room since he was 8 weeks old and I don’t think I could bear to leave him anywhere else. The entire school staff are delightful and attentive, they know me and my son and he smiles brightly every day we walk in and they greet him. After the loss of my daughter a year prior to my son’s birth I didn’t think I’d be able to face leaving him every day to go to work, I knew the only way I was going to be able to do it is if I found an infant room that I had complete trust and confidence in. My husband and I tour more than 12 daycare facilities and none of them made me feel that leaving him would be a possibility. Discouraged, we happened to stop by Knowledge beginnings on a whim, in fact I waited in the car with my newborn son. After 45 minutes my Husband came out and told me I needed to come in and meet the staff. Ms. Kim in the infant room was amazing, not only did she survive 45 minutes of my Husbands questions but she then calmly and happily entertained another 30 minutes of my own. The staff was on top of their game, the other babies were happy laughing and cooing in a well lit, clean room. There were bright decorations up and a wonderful variety of stimulating toys for the infants to play with. At the time Ms. Kim and Ms. Marty were welcoming and genuinely seemed to care about the children in their care. I knew then this was the place for us. His first day they invited me to come in early and stay with my son as well as to come in and feed him whenever work would allow. They offered to call and let me know how he was doing and said I could call as many times as I needed. 7 months later, I still often take advantage of their invitation coming in on my lunch break to be with my son. Ms. Kim, Ms. Chelsea, Ms. Megan and Ms. Donna are all amazing and my son is always happy to see them. The rates are reasonable and they have partnerships with many companies for discounted rates. The hardest part of my day is when I drop him off, I always wish I was able to stay with him but I remind myself how lucky I am to be leaving him with such motivated caring people and that I am fortunate to be able to keep working supporting my family because I know I have such an amazing school in my corner. I cannot thank them enough for not only looking after my son but for the confidence they give me every day he is with them.

Over priced. Too many kids and always under staffed. The day care leadership often ignored sick kids and let them stay when the company policy clearly states the kids need to stay home. The kitchen area is not kept very clean.
