Wow worst experience in a while, started with giving us 4 menus to choose from, but only 1 of each was very confused, prices and items black out, handwritten, hard to read, seriously can’t afford to print a new menu? Then the teacup was covered in lipstick, gross. We ordered some dumplings, they were ice cold including the sauce. Done and out. Won’t be back

Love this place! We only had it through delivery the first few times. It was so good that we said we had better go in and eat and it would be even better… and it was! We got the imperial dinner with the sesame chicken and the sweet and sour platter. Everything was great including the sweet and sour soup and the other appetizers on the pu pu platter. They don’t have a kids menu though but our one year old like what we gave him of ours. The Long Island ice teas are pretty good too!

As another poster stated, there’s not a lot of super-high-quality Chinese food places in this neck of the woods. Today we were craving Chinese but our standby place was closed, so we tried Imperial. We were favorably impressed. My wife was sick so I got takeout, so I can’t comment on the service. However, the hostess was friendly and helpful. My wife wanted mooshu chicken, which isn’t on the menu, but she said«we can make that». Nice! We also got orange beef, tofu and vegetables, and crab cheese wontons. The orange beef was tangy and delicious. The tofu was tasty and the wontons were above average. The portions were large; plenty of leftovers. Even though we didn’t eat in, I noted that care was taken with the décor, it was neither bland and generic nor overdone. We will definitely go back. Good solid experience.

Thanks to stupid Googlemaps, it said it was the closest to the party we were going to be going to, so we went here. I called about 40 minutes before to place the order. We were in a hurry and didn’t want to be late. You know, I’m all for foreigners, but seriously, I wish they’d have people whom can speak ENGLISH answering the phones. Anyway, we got delayed because of some unforeseen circumstances, but we were on our way. We arrive, delayed and frazzled only to find out that she had cancelled the order. I was in shock. She told me that she had called me and that some man answered that they had not ordered the food. Well, DUH! You wrote the phone number incorrectly. I was sooo MAD! Then, she says they can make me a «Fresh» order and that it won’t take that long(blah, blah, blah). Well, not so fast. After what seemed like forever, I finally remind her that I was suppose to be at a party at 6:30(we arrived at 6:30) so… Plus it wasn’t that close to where we were going. Everyone else, had stopped somewhere closer and with better food. *Sigh Well, onto the food. We ordered the basic Sesame Chicken, fried egg rolls and hot-n-sour soup. It was all ok. I certainly wouldn’t go back. The hot-n-sour soup was VERY salty and thick and I couldn’t even eat it. Ugh. Oh well, what can you do? Oh, yea she did try to offer us free sodas, but we didn’t take them, because we don’t drink soda. Besides, I wanted the food! LOL There. That was my rant. Hope you have better luck.

I finally found a decent Chinese place in the area. I was there for lunch on a Sunday and was the only customer. Great! I ordered the Happy Family with Hot & Sour soup. The food was hot heat wise which is always a bonus. I was very satisfied with the food and the young waitress seemed shy. I will definitely be back for the Hot & Sour soup, wontons and perhaps sesame chicken next time.

This was by far the best Chinese food we’ve had since moving to the area! A friend recommended it and we just tried it tonight. We had orange chicken, which was a little sweet for me but good, and chicken lo mein. The lo mein was the star of the order, noodles were firm and not greasy. The crab cheese wontons had great flavor, and the veggie egg rolls were crisp and light. Delivery was fairly quick and friendly. We will definitely order again.

So disappointed… Used to be good! Last week tried to order for delivery and person on the phone was so busy talking to another worker and hung up on me after five minutes of her having a side conversation. Gave it another try. Big mistake. Bad food, cold, and worse… wrong order. Called to complain and again she was so busy talking she wouldn’t listen and cared less. Going somewhere else from now on.

I have been to eat in the building and it is decent. Not the greatest on any of my scales but in this neighborhood there isn’t much ste;;ar chinese food available for delivery. Tonight is the third time I have ordered delivery from them. Nothing they deliver is special, in fact most of it is on the Chucky Cheese level for authentic cuisine. Tonight, on a night when there were no special events, no games, no reason for them to be backed up: I ordered my delivery at 6:30 and was told that it would take an hour. Nonplussed at the least, but I would wait. It is now 2 hours later and we just got our food. NOTWORTHTHEHASSLE! this food is weak especially because it was cooked over an hour ago. stay away!

I have had some good food from there, nothing crazy good. Just an average Chinese food place really. the inside of the place kinda smells like the nail salon next door, so if you sit in there for a while you might get used to it. Also the delivery is hit or miss, one day it will come before the 45 minutes they say it will take, the next it comes an hour and 15 minutes after the first call.

The last time we were in there, found little black bugs in my lunch. Yeah. And the lady that is running the place is not very friendly and very rude to the staff. Won’t go there ever again.

I’ve been here a few times and food was always pretty good. This last experience made me want to write this review. Go in and place smelled like rotten eggs. I was looking at the drink menu and the hostess pretty much said i couldnt order drinks thinking i was under age and closed the menu and pointed to the soda selection. I’m 26. Girlfriend and I order food feeling a little sketchy. I asked for chop sticks and get eyes rolled from the server. Soup was decent. Entrée comes with rice. Opened the rice container which was half full and seemed to be reheated and old. Spooned some onto my girlfriends plate and there was a hair in it. I politely called the server over and discreetly told her there was a hair in the rice because there was other customers around and did not want to embarrass her. She then told us it looked like my girl friends hair. We were appalled. Got up and left. Never going back.

Recently went for dinner and there was no smell and the wait staff was very attentive. The food was great and in large quantities. We’ll definitely be coming back.

Very pleasantly surprised. Our usual Chinese food place was already closed, their late hours were what attracted us. Definitely will be ordering from them again. Got sweet and sour chicken. Light a flaky batter, almost like a beer batter. Very delicious. Also garlic chicken. Also amazing. Thanks for the new food joint.

We also do only take out because there is a very bad smell inside. The smell has nothing to do with the nail salon next door. It smells like backed up grease drains to me. We literally cannot sit inside it smells so bad. What a shame, because we find the food absolutely delicious. I wish the owners would address the problem. When we’ve asked about the terrible smell, they are very quick to blame the nail salon next door. I know what a nail salon smells like, and I would welcome that smell over the smell at Imperial Garden.

We’ve only ordered delivery from them so I can’t speak for the restaurant itself but they’re quick, have an extremely sweet delivery guy and the food is awesome! I’m pretty picky with Chinese since it’s not my favorite of the ethnic foods but I actually crave their food. Even my kids love it and they’ve never been a Chinese food fan. Their prices are great too! Definitely our go to Chinese joint.

I’ve ordered Chinese food from many different restaurants ad this one far exceeds expectations. The food is delicious-without being greasy! I ordered the crabmeat cheese wontons, spicy sesame chicken wings and scallops with garlic sauce. Holy cow-the scallops were HUGE and so delicious! Seriously, the biggest scallops I have ever seen. The spicy chicken wigs ha yummy flavor-sweet and hot(I could’ve gone for more heat) and we’re so crispy! I will be ordering delivery from this restaurant about 3x’s/ month from here on out

An inspection by the health department is desperately needed at Imperial Garden. The stench of rotten food(smelling like eggs or poultry) is so overwhelming, we had to leave immediately after being seated. Stay away.

I liked the cheese wontons and kung pao chicken. The wontons are very crispy and the kung pao chicken is full of flavor. Their hot and sour soup is pretty good, too! Lots of flavor and a bit of spice. My husband’s favorite dish was orange chicken. I’m also surprised at how clean the restaurant is. It’s by far the cleanest Chinese restaurant I have been to.

Yum! The food was so delicious, best hot and sour soup and the young chow double fried noodles were amazing.
