Downtown Littleton is a fun place to work and live. There are festivals going on throughout the year on Main Street like the Block Party and the upcoming Western Welcome Week. The neighbors and business owners are very friendly. There is a post office that is convenient and very helpful. Kind of like a small town within a city.

I love downtown Littleton! Lots of cute shops and restaurants. Really close proximity to both higher education and public transit. They throw block parties and festivals on Main Street. All around, it’s a good community in which to live. Wish there were more coffee houses and book stores, though.

Historic downtown Littleton is so quaint and adorable. I have yet to finish my quest in Historic Littleton, I have not visited all the stores and shops downtown and can’t wait to give it another try this upcoming weekend. Lots of antique stores, and shops with unique finds. Bring your walking shoes and partake in the adventure and fin by walking from store to store and enjoying all that they have to offer. On a nice warm day and a stop in Historic Littleton is right up my alley for a great weekend day. All that’s left is for me to find a great local restaurant to stop on for a bite.

It’s cute, It’s charming, It has little local shops, salons, and places to eat. They people are very friendly and it’s all nice and clean. It is small though and all be it you can spend a lot of time down here it would be nice to see it grow a bit with more local shops. There’s a lot of hair and nail places but they shops tucked between them are great to go it. Two spice shops, two candy places, a few lovely boutiques and some find local restaurants that give you everything from high class places to yummy french or even burger places. The holidays really cast this place in an amazing feeling. The street lighting and even the year round community gathers from rodeo week to the zombie crawl. It’s great to bring the city together. The place is also off the light rail so it’s easy to hop down here and enjoy it.

I can’t give downtown Littleton too bad of a review… as I live here and love it so I can’t go too low on the star-o-meter! But I have to agree with the last reviewer… downtown definitely lacks some character when it comes to its retailers. My biggest annoyance is that we just got hair salon number FOUR… can’t tell you how disappointed I was to see the latest one open up. Really?!? Are we a community starved for haircuts, highlights, and cuticle treatments!!! I think not! What we need are in need of is retailers with fun and inviting shops to bring in people from outside communities and KEEP them coming back… some of our restaurants are fun and festive like McKinner’s Pizza(yum), Terra Cotta Café, Merle’s and Opus… now we just need some great shops to add to the mix… not another boring«upity» salon! Come on Littleton! No more! I’d rather see a couple of the salons go rather than the medical marijuana shop… and that’s saying a lot!

Historic Downtown Littleton is very nice. Almost too nice. There are lots of cute shops in the area but it seems like they offer little in variety in what they actually sell. One thing that does stand out is that there was a spice shop here that seemed unique from the rest. Other than that it all seemed like a bunch of beauty salons, boutiques and ‘antique’ shops. All which looked very nice but none of it very quirky, trendy or much character(Except for the costume store I found on Prince street). From this analysis you can tell very quickly that downtown Littleton belongs to the upper class residents of Littleton itself and Highlands Ranch. The restaurants seemed mildly interesting but not too terribly fetching. All in all just an average ‘eh’ visit… until I went into Reinke Bros, the costume shop I mentioned!
