I will nearly always choose small businesses over corporate chains… but not a fan of Foothills coffee, which is a bummer, because there’s not much besides the big chain in sw Littleton… so on the day I visited, the barista didn’t know how to make basic espresso drinks, and even with a friendly explanation I didn’t get what I wanted. You don’t have iced coffee when its 100f out? How about about an iced americano? No… wait, not with hot water… it’s iced. Iced. You use cold water and espresso. Not the drip coffee… espresso. I wouldn’t be so annoyed if I wasn’t at a –coffee– shop. Also, loud tv. Need some espresso fans working the machine, mang…

Today was my first time into Foothills Coffee House. They serve Daz Bog coffee which I like. Had a coconut chocolate chip muffin. Very good. Very nice interior. Leather chairs, a few tables and a Coffee bar. A nice quiet place to relax for sure and a very nice alternative to Sbux. Looks like they have wifi but I didn’t use or inquire. I will go back. Looks like their hours are roughly 6am-​4pm.
