Our concept is simple; taste before you buy. We specialize in providing an interactive and educational experience unlike any other in Colorado.

History

Established in 2009.

EVOO Marketplace-​Denver was founded in early 2009 by my parents Mick and Carolyn. They opened the first extra-​virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar tasting bar in the State of Colorado with a tremendous positive response. I am carrying on in their footsteps and opened EVOO Marketplace-​Old Town Littleton in November 2011.

I spent the past 17 years in the Biotech/​Academic Life Science research business. I decided to a sabbatical from the «Big business of science» and focus on helping my parents open their second EVOO Marketplace store. I enjoy all kinds of cooking and cuisine with Southeast Asian and Hispanic food being my favorite. I look forward to educating the public on what is true Extra-​Virgin Olive Oil and its health benefits.

Our experience at EVOO is always awesome. The staff has been friendly and helpful every time we go in. The olive oils and vinegars are superb and you try before you buy. I was a good cook before, but these oils and vinegars have taken it to the next level. Be adventurous with your purchases here, and you will not regret it. Also, sign up for their newsletter and you occasionally get freebies with your purchase.

Dropped by this little shop on a Saturday morning — really amazing selection of infused olive oils and vinegars. They have something for everything! Whether you are baking and want to use an infused oil to add some great flavor or if you just are looking for an amazing dipping oil and vinegar combo. The tuscan herb oil with the 18 year aged balsamic was my favorite — I also picked up a blood orange oil and cranberry balsamic for salad dressings. :) They also will help you out with popular combinations and you get to taste them all. I only wish they would have had some bread or something to go with it — on an empty stomach multiple tastes of the oils and vinegars can be hard on the stomach!

I love their oils and basalmic vinegars, my favorites are the garlic infused oil and the black mission fig and cinnamon pear vinegars, so yummy alone on salads or use to fry/​cook with. The people are friendly, I love being able to freely sample all the products, and the store has always been super clean when I’ve gone in. Great job!

I came here not expecting to buy anything but after tasting that 18yr balsamic, I was hooked! I have never tasted a balsamic so wonderfully balanced that’s not too acidic yet very flavorful. After trying the 18yr, I went around trying all the other balsamic and oils. I really enjoyed the wild blueberry balsamic and was recommended to try it with the blood orange olive oil. Wow. That’s flavor combination is amazing. It’s perfect for sweets and salads.
Ended up buying the 18yr. I’m going to have some amazing salads and breads.

What a taste sensation when they mix the right flavor of oil and vinegar. WOW! I samlled blood orange oil and choclate vinegar and basil oil with jalapeño vinegar. Amazing.
I will go back when I am need of either of these ingredients. Best shop for these two items I have been to. I am still thinking of the taste explosion in my mouth. What a nice legal high.

I live in Washington State and only get to Colorado once a year to see my daughter. I have been to this store twice now and LOVE it! This time I got the Cranberry Pear White Vinegar and made the best salad dressing with it. I will be ordering more on line when I run out! I highly recommend it!

What a nice little shop! They have so many different oil and vinegar products to choose from, the selection is actually a little bit overwhelming. I LOVE that they are located right next to Savory! The staff are very knowledgeable and eager to discuss their products. I don’t cook with a lot of oil or vinegar, generally, so I don’t see myself buying a ton of product here. But it’s nice to know that there’s a place right here in town where I can find something exotic if I need it.

If you like to cook or eat, you should come here. Sample the variety of balsamics and infused olive oils. Ask questions about pairings. Go home with bottles of stuff to marinate or finish off your dishes.
I love the fruit flavored balsamics for salads. Fig! Dark Cherry! The lemon and lime are terrific for chicken and shrimp marinades. The EVOOs are awesome too… my favorite so far is the green chile. It’s got a kick on the back end, so be careful!
Service here is terrific. Don’t be scared to ask for help!

Our favorite place to buy olive oil and vinegar products. Does not hurt that the spice shop is next door. We have had many compliments on the peach vinegar and have going to using this olive oil for our salads. Good spot.

What a great shop in downtown Littleton! I decided to quickly stop in on my way to meeting a friend for lunch. My goal was to find a great balsamic vinegar. once I stepped inside the store, I was amazed to see the selection they had. The sales associate was very friendly and informative and walked me through a few samples of their high quality, all natural balsamic vinegar. Everything tasted great, but since I was in a hurry and wanted to get a basic balsamic vinegar, I chose the 12 year traditional variety. I certainly can’t wait to come back to try the other selections and find a high quality olive oil!

We stopped in EVOO Marketplace after brunch one Sunday and I’ll be back again and again. They let you try as many oils and vinegars as you want and believe me, you’ll want to try them all!
They have an AMAZING selection of infused olive oils and vinegars with flavors great on their own and even better in the perfect combinations.
This is a great spot to pick up a gift for the gourmet chef in your life and a great place to stop in to top off your own grocery getting. It reinvigorated my enthusiasm to cook and I tried out several new recipes that were big hits thanks to EVOO!

I received a Groupon to the EVOO Marketplace for Christmas and had never heard of it before. The staff went above and beyond with customer service and was very helpful and available for questions. You can taste any of the olive oils or balsamic vinegars and they suggest good pairings as well. Everything is completely pure and you can absolutely taste the difference! I will never buy these from the grocery store again. Their balsamic vinegars are aged (as they should be) and are extremely smooth. I was very impressed with their wide selection and would highly recommend this store to anyone. They have great gift packages too!

The staff at EVOO Marketplace are friendly and helpful. I have never been to a store like this. It was suggested to me by a friend who was dieting. She was buying their olive oil and vinegar to make her own tasty low fat salad dressing and marinade.
I went in thinking that I might buy one bottle. I walked out with 4! The flavors are amazing. The staff will walk you through tasting all you’d like. You won’t believe how good they taste. I had no idea that flavors like this existed in olive oil or vinegar.
I use the Jalapeño vinegar for an extra kick in my salads and the basil olive oil to marinate my chicken and pork. It feels good buying locally from a unique high quality store.

My neighbor told me about EVOO Marketplace; she brought me a gift for taking care of her dog. She then told me about the health benefits of olive oil; I thought what the hell and started taking a little slug of a common brand of oil. I swear to you, my skin looks 100% better. I figured if common oil made my skin look younger, what would the good stuff do? So off to EVOO before a lunch with friends.
You have to go to experience your oil and vinegar education. They have so many infused oils and flavored vinegars that everyone’s taste buds will be happy. I went for the most intense olive oil and an 18 year old aged balsamic and for a little zing, a peach white balsamic for peach salsa over fish.
I see there is a location downtown as well. A fun shopping experience.

A new place that just opened on Old Towne Littleton’s Main Street, right next to the Savory Spice Store. I had just stocked up so I didn’t buy anything when I was here; however, the staff was friendly, helpful and let me taste everything!
They have a great selection and you can taste the quality in their extra virgin olive oils. Their balsamic vinegar selection is nice too. The staff is great about suggesting OO/​BV pairings. Their prices tend to range from reasonable (such as for the truffle oils) to a little expensive (I’ve found delicious Arbequina less expensive elsewhere). My only qualm really is that unlike the spice shop, they sell in one or two sizes.
Still, I’m excited to come back once my stock runs out.
