History

Established in 2003.

Denis and Suzie Ouellette opened in Evergreen in 2003. Design Repeats moved to its new location in the Highlands Ranch area in April 2009. Since we have been able to expand our showroom and provide better quality furniture to our customers.

I love this place! We recently moved from Denver to Tucson and I consigned almost 35 items at Design Repeats. They were very professional and helpful from start to finish. I can’t say enough great things about their customer service, how they marketed/​merchandised my furniture and accessories on the showroom floor, their payment system, etc. They sold all but two items in that timeframe and those items they donated for me! Excellent place to consign and shop. Thank you!

Design Repeats is a wonderful, family owned and operated business where they treat their customers like gold! My friends and I have found very high quality items for our homes, gently used, which bring many compliments. DR has also helped me sell many items which they market beautifully and provided me with quite a bit of extra cash. The movers that they use are also excellent and extremely careful in my home carrying every piece as if it were their own. The staff are wonderful and helpful every time we are there. We love the owners.

I love going to Design Repeats regularly! I recently purchased a twoll headboard and just love thier mix of such great quality consigned pieces. I have even found some new things there as well. We stop by at least twice a week if we can as it every changing.
I use to frequent thier competitor Joys but have found you can’t count on Joy’s staff to keep thier word or be attentive to the customers. The Joy’s team talks with one another and hovers at the desk. The Design Repeats team welcome you and checks on you a couple of times during your visit.

I have been in this store a few times and am always disappointed. They are not especially helpful and the prices are high. I could but new for their prices. They also seem to have a bit of a snobbish air. The best thing about this place is the dog!

This is a frustrating review to write. First off, they quite frequently have beautiful things. Whoever does their purchasing and acquisition does a fine job. You do have to go back frequently to find that one (or three) things you must have. On several trips we’ve acquired really nice pieces for our home and office here. Some are new, some are used, but we’ve usually found value. I would go four stars based on the things we’ve found and loved there.
EDIT: The frustrating part had been our experiences with customer service on more than one occasion. Since writing this review one of the owners reached out personally to address the issue. I certainly don’t write reviews for special treatment or to elicit a response. I try to honestly state what our experiences have been to share some value. I am impressed and appreciative at the outreach.
