Description

Specialties

At BodyWork Concepts, we work to eliminate pain by bringing balance to your body.

Your body was designed to be in balance and when it is, you do not experience pain,

but daily activities, repetitive movements, injuries and posture compensations all work to pull your body out of balance. When your body is out of balance, you will eventually experience pain.

At BodyWork Concepts, we use a comprehensive program of soft tissue manipulation and nervous system retraining techniques, encouraging your body to heal itself. We also offer deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy for more general, full-body pain relief.

History

Established in 2005.

Charlene started her practice, BodyWork Concepts, with a focus on chronic pain relief. She believes that bringing balance to your body is the first step toward true healing and lasting pain relief.

Charlene R.

Business Owner

Charlene’s career as a bodyworker started in 2004 at The Center of Advanced Therapeutics in Denver, where she studied medical massage and neuromuscular therapy.

After initially practicing in a physical therapy wellness center, she went to work at Craig Hospital in the outpatient rehab department as a PT/OT Aide. After a personal injury, resulting in a shoulder separation, she began to pursue techniques that would bring lasting relief and enable her to remain active.

Additional studies in trigger point therapy and myokinesthetics led her to create a unique program of soft tissue manipulation and nervous system retraining techniques that encourage the body to heal itself.

In addressing postural distortions, muscle imbalances and nervous system dysfunction, Charlene can help those with pain issues in the neck, shoulder, low back, hip or foot. She has helped many find relief from frozen shoulder, sciatica, plantar fasciitis and bulging or herniated discs.
