History

Established in 2008.

Our Founder

A Master’s Hands, LLC was founded in 2008 by Jim Bartlett after he spent over 30 years doing handyman work for family and friends in Colorado, California, Indiana, Connecticut, North Carolina, Tennessee & Illinois.

During most of these years, Jim worked in the high-​tech industry until he «retired» from the corporate world and determined there was a real need for quality service to those who needed help around the house, or condo. After helping several families with dozens of projects like those outlined in Our Services page, Jim decided to start A Master’s Hands. Now the business has 12 field technicians, is fully certified, insured, and licensed as a Class-​C General Contractor (#C080498)

Jim spent many years as an apprentice to his father and grandfather, both master craftsmen themselves. Thus, he has acquired a wealth of practical knowledge and experience in all facets of remodeling, home repair & maintenance, as well as business management.

Business Owner

Jim co-​founded A Master’s Hands after retiring early from the corporate world. With decades of prior experience doing remodeling and handyman work, he founded AMH based on a mission statement that starts with the objective of serving all clients «as unto the Lord»…serving each client as though the company were serving God himself. As demand for the company’s services has grown, so has the team, such that the firm now has a full-​time office manager, and a dozen team members serving clients. Jim still is active in the field serving clients himself several days a week, but now spends more time managing a business that’s grown dramatically over the last 7 years.
