*Director of Saline County Drug Abuse Prevention and Treatment Program, 1976 – 1978.

*J.D. University of Arkansas School of Law, 1981.

*Law Clerk to Associate Justice Steele Hays of the Arkansas Supreme Court, 1981 – 1982.

*From 1982 through 1988, David S. Mitchell served as Assistant Arkansas Attorney General principally in the litigation division defending Arkansas state agencies and officers in civil rights litigation.

*From 1988 to the present, Mr. Mitchell has been engaged in the private practice of the law representing innocent victims of medical negligence, defective products, and careless drivers.
