Courtyard Little Rock Downtown

Hands down one of the best staffed properties I’ve seen besides the Chicago Renaissance. Super attentive and friendly. The staff knows everyone, and there are a ton of regulars who are treated like family — Great service!
In the heart of downtown Little Rock… closest to all things you need to be near and short walk to those slightly off the beaten path — frankly its a better location than the Full Marriott to the west about .5 miles.

This hotel is a great value. I’ve been to several good Courtyard hotels and a couple that didn’t meet expectations. This particular Courtyard has several positive attributes… The location is great, with riverfront walking to the best Little Rock has to offer, and the parking lot entrance is adjacent to the interstate exit. The room is spacious, clean, modern, and comfortable. The shower water pressure is outstanding, plenty of hot water. Reverse osmosis stations on each floor. Staff is welcoming and eager to serve. I will certainly stay again.

I’ve been traveling to Little Rock a lot lately and I decided to give the Courtyard Marriott a try since it is a bit more affordable and open to Priceline negotiating than the Peabody Marriott down the street.
This is a fair hotel, with friendly staff, and updated amenities but it is not the most conducive to total relaxation. However for quick business stays this place is clutch and easy accessible from the airport and other downtown amenities.
THE YES:
+ Updated lobby with small business center
+ Free WiFi
+ Super friendly and accommodating staff. The first room that I checked in had a weird funky smell (like someone smoked a pack of cigarettes and tried to cover it up with cheap air freshener). I went to the front desk and asked for another room and they gave me another one, no questions asked.
+ Location — Located in the River Market neighborhood there are tons of cute shops, museums, and restaurants to keep you entertained even when you don’t have a car
+ Beds are comfy, sheets and pillows are soft.
+ Prices are affordable
THE MEH:
+ Walls are paper thin. I could hear what was happening over in the next room through the bathroom and the maids in the hallways.
+ Rooms are dark without a lot of natural sunlight
+ Personality-​less furniture and décor

Stayed here for the night in Little Rock, It is my first Courtyard experience. And it was not a bad one by any means. They definitely cater more to the business travel crowd then the leisure travel crowd. But that is all fine and well. The primary reason I chose to book a night here, instead of the Marriott (just down the street a couple blocks) that we stayed in last time, was they offered A jacuzzi suite.
The hotel itself was nice and clean. The lobby was large with a nice sized business center. A large patio outback featured a fire pit with lots of chairs around.
Our room was a nice size with a large very comfortable bed. The couch was comfortable and there was a TV, but we never turn that on anyway.
Our jacuzzi was in the bathroom, that was large and featured a giant walk in shower as well. Very clean and featured Paul Mitchell bath products, a nice touch as I forgot to pack shampoo. Booking this room was a good idea in theory but we did not get to utilize the jacuzzi tub much at all, instead we just went to sleep in the comfortable bed.
The location is good, a short walk from the River Market district, and the Clinton Presidential Museum. There is a parking garage directly behind the hotel, just a short walk away.
A good hotel overall, but next time I think we will stay at the Marriott again.

I flew into town at the last minute on a trip and needed the government rate. Manager Adam really looked out for me and got me and a co-​worker the rate. I sincerely appreciate him taking care of us.
Hotel is located on a cool little street in downtown Little Rock. I was there on a Saturday night and things were happening down there!
Highly recommend the hotel.

This stay was great! The front desk staff got us checked in early and was very friendly. The whole hotel was clean and the room was awesome– view of the river market and most of downtown. The bed was amazingly comfy. This hotel is very close to everything downtown and we highly recommend!

I’m surprised this hotel isn’t rated higher. The property looks like it has been updated in the last year or so. Keeping in mind the Courtyard brand (moderate to upper moderate), this is one of the nicest locations I’ve stayed in. The downtown location near the River Market is prime, and your stay includes free parking in the garage beside it. The only inconvenience is the fitness room is only accessible by walking through the pool area. I will stay here again though!

Nice clean newer hotel. The individual bags of ice to put in ice buckets is a nice touch. The reverse osmosis water that’s available for free was really good. I think I filled up on the water at least 5 times is a 2 day stay. Convenient location to plenty of food drinks and bars in the area. Was even able to hear a concert going on the River walk.

$ 9.99 for a rinky dink buffet with basically no food left is outrageous. That sealed it for me. When we asked for more food because they were out of something we were told no, which is ridiculous when you’re paying for it.

Check in was fast and accommodations were adequate. However at check in we were told that breakfast was at 7am on Sat. Normally staff will tell you if breakfast is not included and we assumed the buffet was. After eating we were brought a bill for breakfast at $ 10 a plate. Not sure how we missed this. Definitely go elsewhere for a good breakfast!

If you want a hotel located close to the River Market area this one can’t be beat for location.
It’s an older hotel so you will be missing the modern day amenities like enough conveniently accessible power plugs and mirror outside the bathroom (a big deal if you have a family and are getting prepared at the same time). At least it comes with free WiFi.
The staff is attentive but the floor we stayed on reeked of bad body odor on both days of our stay. We brought it to the attention of the hotel staff but they attributed it to the maintenance staff. You don’t say? The bartender was super nice and even called the driver of the restaurant shuttle service.
Parking is easy to get to behind the hotel in a public parking garage.

I would definitely stay here again. We noted in our reservation that we were here to see the Clinton Library so they gave us a room with a great view of it. The room was nice and fairly spacious. The beds were very comfortable and had a lot of pillows which I need. The room had a fridge which is always nice. Really, no complaints about the room. The front desk people were very nice. The only things they could improve on were having free parking (it’s $ 8 a day) and a free breakfast.

Really good bed. quiet room and great shower! This is a good value for the $.
Also, do yourself a favor and go down in time for breakfast! A custom made omelette … and with the oatmeal, they have dried blueberries, along with all the normal stuff.

You can tell the hotel is a bit dated, but they did try to update the furnishings. You can still see remnants of old décor in the bathroom, but it wasn’t a problem at all. The 2 queen bed room was huge! (with sleeper couch). Breakfast had all the standard items. Nice staff.

This hotel is pretty typical of Courtyard by Mariott. I am not the biggest fan of this chain, but business often demands that I stay at one. I’ll break this up into positives and negatives.
Postives: Definitely location. There isn’t a whole lot going on in Little Rock in a cultural sense. This hotel is close to the River Market area which really has a lot of great restaurants and bars nearby. Little Rock really has an under rated music scene and there are several great places nearby that bring in some really nice music. Also some great restaurants and museums nearby. You wouldn’t have to take the car out of the parking garage for days.
Hotel itself has some strengths. Lady tending bar is a real sweetheart and they serve some fairly decent food from the kitchen. Breakfast buffet is $ 9.99 and they have fresh fruit and omlettes made to order.
Negatives: Rooms are not particularly big, especially bathroom which is tiny by my standards, exercise room is pretty minimal as well as the pool area. Pool is downright tiny.
But if you’re going to enjoy some of the Little Rock attractions and pretty much spend minimal time at the hotel, this would be the place to stay.

I stayed at this hotel for a 5 day/​4 night business trip, and it was great! The room was spacious and very clean — everything seemed brand new. I had a great view of the bridge over the river. I really liked that they gave you a decanter for water so you didn’t have to keep going back and forth. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful — the printer wasn’t working at 4:45am when I was trying to print my boarding pass and someone was there ready to help. The hotel itself has a nice little bar which had a funny group of locals when I grabbed a drink. My only criticism is that there isn’t a continental breakfast & they charged $ 10 for pretty meh scrambled eggs & hash browns. I didn’t try anything they served for dinner. The hotel itself is extremely conveniently located — my office (part of the presidential center) was just down the street, not even a block away. I’d definitely stay here again.
