History

Established in 1982.

In 1982, the first Turn-​Out store was opened in Jersey City, NJ. The company then relocated to 812 Madison street, Hoboken, NJ. As the business continued to expand, Turn-​Out Uniforms grew out of space and relocated once again. In 1992, Turn Out Fire & safety, Inc. moved to its current location which has a large retail store, ample warehouse space and offices. Turn Out Fire & Safety, Inc has been successfully servicing police, fire and EMS departments throughout the tri state area for over 30 years. We also represents, many manufacturers which includes 5.11 Tactical, Flying Cross, Elbeco, Lion apparel, Cairns, Safariland, Blauer, Bates Footwear, Bushnell, Rocky Shoes, Uncle Mike’s Tactical, Under Armour, Propper, Reebok and Strong Leathers.

Business Owner

Joseph started his career as a JC Medical Center EMT. Joseph found a passion for helping others. Soon after he opened Turn Out and his business grew from there. Joseph has been in business for over 34 years serving the finest and bravest. He continues at his two convenient NJ locations, working with over 100 departments in selling them the most protective, custom clothing for their needs.
