History

Established in 2015.

Owners Tom & Vinny both live in town and have wives and families. Their goal was to make a place where the community could get together and feel great about giving their kids a delicious taste of real ice cream.

Every summer, I create a «Summer of Ice Cream» list with new ice cream spots in New Jersey and New York that I want to visit. Falls Creamery was the first New Jersey stop of the season and it did not disappoint. The girl working was friendly and patient as we sampled the flavours which were plentiful and varying. It was a tough decision for me to go a more fruity or chocolatey path but the malted caramel flavour won me over so I went with that and campfire smores topped with caramel sauce. The ice cream was perfectly smooth and creamy with a good amount of mix ins and godo flavor depth. The portion size was perfect and apparently you can basically get as many flavours as you like in any size which my often indecisive self LOVES. The toasted coconut and campfire coffee were also excellent and I think next time I will be getting the Maine blueberry for sure!

Completely addicted to the new Caramel Malt flavor! Love the old school ice cream shop vibe this place has and you can taste the quality in every scoop and topping. Been here a few times now and always surprised with a new flavor at each visit. Will definitely become a regular here this summer!

Really cool ice cream shoppe. Had dinner in Clifton and craving some ice cream and really happy I discovered this place. They had interesting flavors like toasted coconut and campfire smores. My friend opted for the cake batter flavor and it was phenomenal. Picture below. I opted for the half s’more and half campfire coffee. Pretty good as well. Portions are huge too. Overall, def would come back and bring some friends.

I like it a lot. Within walking distance from where I live. Really clean inside. Excellent flavors and great prices. Seems like a better alternative to Rita’s in town. Looks like a cool summer spot to grab an ice-​cream cone.

Awesome find! Excellent ice cream and service. We were lucky to get there when there was no line. We got cups of Campfire Smores, Fly Fishing Fudge and Peanut Butter Pie. All 3 are amazing. Can’t wait to try more flavors. Highly recommend. Go now, you won’t be disappointed!

The ice-​cream was delicious. Tried the deer tracks and smores. The smores Ice Cream was delicious and even better with their home made chocolate sauce. I would really recommend this place for anyone with a sweet tooth. A great after dinner king of treat.

This place is awesome! A good variety of flavors but not too many that it makes it ridiculously difficult to pick something. They have some cool «adult» flavors like Maine blueberry and toasted coconut in both vanilla or chocolate. The vanilla toasted coconut should be illegal since it’s so addicting!!! They also have flavors the kids like such as birthday cake with REAL pieces of spongy yummy cake blended in. Really good! Today we did ice cream on homemade waffles!!! Oh man, ridiculously good!
To top it off Tom, the owner and his wife chatted with us and they were really nice to my family. So reasonable prices, top notch service, and delicious ice cream and waffles (Tom was raving about his ice cream shakes but we haven’t tried that YET) I almost forgot… This place is also very clean, with modern yet classic look to to this fine establishment.
Yup, we’ll be frequenting this place often.

This gem is a great addition to the local scene. It tops all the other ice cream alternatives in Little Falls, and is one of the best stops on Main Street.
The staff there is extremely accommodating and patient. Local kids work there and the manager is always around — really makes it feel like a small-​town, family business. The interior design is adorable — chalkboards with the flavors of the day written in neat handwriting, and more behind the counter boasting of feel-​good treats like sundaes and soda floats.
The seating area is sufficiently large, with little round tables and red metal chairs adding to the classic, 50s aesthetic. They don’t serve homemade ice cream, but that’s a small compromise. Gifford’s, a Maine company that they also serve in an ice cream/​chocolate shop in Montclair, never fails to please. Even if this place wasn’t in the most accessible part of town, I think I’d still find a way to get to it for that nighttime ice cream fix.

Gave this place a try I loved the coconut ice cream. I also tried their cake batter. It has actual real cake pieces in it. Small place but very cute. This was originally the florist next to the fire house for those of you who are local.

4 for pretty good ice cream (homemade would be better — isn’t that what a creamery should have?)
2 for location (its really close to the river and the parking is terrible)
8⁄15 update: I tried this place again; really want to like it because my son does karate nearby, but OMG — like Brendalynne F. said — the location $UCKS. We had to walk from a municipal parking lot behind it past a burned out old diner. And then the fire siren sounded while we were trying to eat. I thought Little Falls was nicer than this?
I did have the new flavor — some kind of chocolate with toasted coconut, and it was good. My son had the Four Corners — not sure why its called that because it was like a classic hot fudge sundae. The hot fudge was really good and I think the whipped cream is homemade, so that was good.
Overall it was ok — but I really wish it was located someplace else.

The location sucks, but the guy behind the counter was really friendly and helpful and the interior is very clean and modern. I’m glad we gave this place a chance.
