If you are deathly claustrophobic like me this is the place to go and ask for Pam M. Insurance would not approve an open MRI and my doctor had to jump through hoops to try and get me approved but they still denied the open MRI… Pam said she is claustrophobic and understood my concerns and fears. She let me go in and out of the machine to give a «test» run to make sure I could do the tests… she also let my son (23 yrs old) hold my hand and showed him where the emergency escape button was so if I started to panic that he could get me out faster. My doctor prescribed me 3 Xanax to help calm me but those didn’t help much. until after the procedure then I fell asleep while he went to get the car…
