Drink and Drive Intelligently LLC

This service is horrible. I have used it 3 times and I will no longer be using this service. They are extremely late when arriving and don’t give updated arrival times to let you know when they will be arriving. When the drivers finally arrived they were not personal and made it appear that I was inconveniencing them. The 2^nd time I used them they were so late that the bar was closing and they wouldn’t let me stay inside and I had to wait outside in the bitter cold. After my 2^nd bad experience, I called their office and was treated horribly and they made it sound like it was my fault. Save your money and just get a cab home and get your car the next day. It will probably be cheaper too.

Never again! Took forever to show up… over an hour after they estimated. Then was relying on ME, the drunk person, to navigate her to my house. EVER HEARD OF PHONE NAVIGATION??? I was bombed and the lady drove me an extra 20 miles the wrong direction by missing the exits I gave her over and over again. She missed the turns EVERY TIME unless I physically was watching for them and told her when exactly to exit the road or turn off the road. If you’ve ever been drunk, this is not an easy task to stay focused on… A reason why I called a cab to bring me home!!! WORST CAB EXPERIENCE EVER! Not to mention it was $ 180 from St. Paul to Savage. Never again.

Too expensive. Horrible communication, didn’t let us know how long they would be, only called once then left, dispatcher was rude, and unpleasant.

I have used this company several times and after my last two experiences I will NOT be using them again!
With my most recent experience, I had only had two beers but we made a reservation for 2:00 thinking it is better to be safe than sorry. Not only was our ride over 30 minutes late (which I could have over looked had the rest of our experience gone smooth, considering it was a holiday weekend) but the gentleman driving our car drove 40mph or LESS on the highway the entire way home, he was swerving in and out of his lane and to top it off he parked my car so far from the curb it would have been considered «in the road». I asked the gentleman if it was his first night, thinking maybe he was nervous, he said no.
I called a sober driving service to save me the hassle of dealing with the drunks on the road and get me home safe, yet the entire ride home I was concerned for our safety, it’s a miracle that OUR car didn’t get pulled over!
I will not be using DDI again and I will definitely not be recommending their services to anyone in the future!

I’ve used these guys many times over the past couple years, and they have not dissapointed me (unlike Dry Drivers, who have screwed up twice).
They have good communication, reliable online (and by phone) advance ride arranging (book in advance on holidays!), and are usually quick to pick up on spur of the moment calls. Last night they had me on the road in less than 20 minutes when I called them at bar close. Very nice!
The price for me to go to Plymouth from Downtowm Mpls. always ends up being pretty much exactly twice the price as a single cab, but I have found coupons on
which helps a lot, and the convenience of having my car with me, rather than cabbing both ways when I plan to get my drink on, makes this a very useful service. The drivers are always capable and tolerant, if not outright friendly.
