Jack came to Lancaster out of Purdue University to work for Armstrong as an Industrial Engineer, and continued to live here while consulting to the Fortune 500 and the Department of Defense in the area of Supply Chain Systems. Motivated by the significant and unresolved hearing loss of his mother prior to her passing, Jack investigated the hearing aid industry and concluded that Zounds hearing aids, with 57 patents and a streamlined production and distribution supply chain, was able to provide people the best cost-​effective high-​technology solution, and he decided to bring them to Lancaster. Jack gives free hearing health and techniques seminars and hearing screenings to community groups such as Lions Clubs, local independent living facilities, and Senior Centers to establish hearing health awareness and assist people in communicating with the hard of hearing.
