They need to revamp their salad & soup bar ugh. The bread was basically left out for hours so it was inedible like hockey pucks. The steak tips have gone up considerably in price since my last visit. I counted I only got 7 small steak tips for 12.99 not fair pricing at all! The dessert section needs to be overhauled as well. The «fudge sauce» was in a skillet and had the texture of road tar so it was un-​usable for the runny soft ice cream. The quality and pricing control police should make a stop here!

Hoss’s is a classic in its area. It’s been around for a long time, and its regular patrons prove that it’s well liked. The food is good, but nothing special, and the salad bar is large, but relatively boring. The servers are always friendly (think your best friend’s grandma or your roommate’s cousin) and seating is prompt. Keep your eyes out for their large variety of soups (especially the french onion).

They changed the layout a bit in the front so you don’t have to stand and wait for people to choose what they want. Which is very nice. Our waitress was completely wonderful which is the only reason I’m giving three stars. They completely changed their portions to smaller; more expensive meals. I ordered fried shrimp with French fries. This meal was 10.99. I was awaiting the normal nicely portioned meal and was completely disappointed that I only got 5 fried shrimp. 5??? So that adds up to 5 bucks for the shrimp, and five dollars for the fries. I can get three times as much food at red lobster for just about the same amount sorry this is so long for just some damn shrimp but it upset me bye

Do not like this location. Their new table service is not why people come to Hoss’s. Plus I noticed the prices are higher. Salad bar food items were dry and overcooked. Dinner item was… blah. Dry. We usually go to Mechanicsburg location where service is friendly and food is good. Your review helps others learn about great local businesses.

Our kids love this place. We typically just get the salad bar since there is so much to choose from. We have had steaks and the fish which have always been good too. It is always clean and our servers have always been very nice. We get coupons emailed to us which helps to save some money when we can eat out as a family. Overall very good food and good place for families.
