Super rich ice creams here, both the soft serve and hard pack varieties. So many flavors and combinations available that you’ll have a tough time choosing and will just have to live with your regret that you simply cannot have them all at the same time. But there’s always next time, right? This basement ice cream shop isn’t much to look at, but staff are friendly and helpful and you can’t go wrong no matter what you order. On the pricey side, but the quality can’t be beat. So ENJOY already!

Greco’s offers homemade Italian ices and homemade ice cream on a daily basis. If you’re not in the mood to have a scoop of either, they also have sundaes, banana splits, shakes, gelatos, and flurries. Limited seating inside, or there is a small patio to enjoy your cold treats al fresco. They are located in front of the Wilbur Chocolate factory. +homemade Italian ices & ice cream +located in front of Wilbur’s

After my attempt to find a parking spot within a mile of The Jigger Shop failed, we checked out this place. They have thick, flavorful ice cream, and their Italian ice was terrific. It was cash only, but not a lot of cash– so I can’t complain too much. Lititz has yet to disappoint me.

Located in the lower level of a 100+ year old building, and set back off the main road(across from Wilbur Chocolate), this Mom-n-Pop shop knows how to make the finest HOMEMADE ice cream and HOMEMADE Italian Ice. The atmosphere is quaint, with inside seating for a couple dozen people … typically with a kid-friendly movie playing in the background. Picnic benches with umbrellas are offered outside, as well. I opted for TEABERRY ice cream in a chocolate dipped waffle cone. The combination was wonderful, the portions were generous, and my taste buds couldn’t have been happier! For an post-dessert appetizer, I opted for a Root Beer gelato with soft vanilla ice cream. Greco’s soft ice cream is REAL ice cream(DQ serves ice-milk, while Rita’s serves custard(with egg — yuk)). You can get a Greco’s gelato with homemade(hand-dipped) ice cream as well, but I chose soft ice cream this time — as nobody makes soft ice cream like this anymore. If you stumble into the hamburger place next door, beware … they serve grocery store ice-cream, and soft-serve(which is not ice cream). Unlike many who travel to Lititz for tourism, then stop by Greco’s for ice-cream … I travel about 75 minutes, and make a bee-line straight for Greco’s!

I seem to recall getting ice cream here a few times, though on my last visit I tried their gelato. As many of the other reviews say, the ice cream selection here is good: both hand dipped and soft serve. They have a nice location just outside of Lititz Springs Park, however I mist admit I prefer the soft serve offered at Freeze and Frizz to here –they were probably quite upset when the store relocated to just next door. Another fair warning, also mentioned in other reviews, this place is cash only. Make it a point to count your change before ordering; they’re a tad more expensive here than some of the other parlors around. Closing words of wisdom: their hand dipped is their strong suit, gelato is their shortfall, their smalls are rather large and when it’s windy the outside seating is subject to natural debris. It wouldn’t be fair pick one place over another without having tried them all so that is what I recommend you do.

Love this place! The best waffle cones and their customer service is good. The only con is they only take cash.

Positives: The best ice cream in Lititz by far. Fantastic selection. Negatives: Cash only. They don’t take plastic. Very limited seating. The place always smells like bleach or cleaning solution. …but the ice cream is worth it!

Small, cute hidden gem… Cash only, and the service can be pretty slow because there are usually only two employees there(and it seems that we end up behind people who want to sample everything), but the quality is very good and worth it. Even the soft ice cream(don’t call it soft serve!) is real and homemade; the only other time I’ve experienced that is at a little family creamery, brings back good memories. Everything we have had has been delicious and the portions are really large, so a small cone is a LOT of ice cream. Great little place.

Great ice cream, lots of flavors, friendly service. Yes, every time I’ve been in this place, the people behind the counter were invariably friendly and courteous. I really don’t know what caused«loose change guy» to have a bad experience, but I for one would have borrowed the cash from my girlfriend in the first place rather than expect all those other people in line to be fine with waiting while it was counted out. Just saying. But really, this place has the best ice cream in Lititz.

Excellent choice on a hot day or any day for that matter. I chose the root beer Italian ice, and I was thrilled with the taste and consistency. It was like opening a ice cold bottle of old fashioned root beer on a hot summer’s day. A little out of the way, but well worth the trip.

Slipped downstairs is the ice cream gem of Lititz. Ample scoop size with high quality ice cream with reasonable prices. Grab a scoop and talk a walk to enjoy the town of Lititz.

Great«homemade» ice cream. Kind of an odd location in the basement, but don’t let that deter you. After you have some Wilbur chocolate wash it down with some great ice cream
