History

Established in 2000.

I’ve been doing hair and makeup ever since I was a little girl (photography came much later). Barbie was my first and only client for many, many years. Soon thereafter, and as if they had a choice, my mother and sister would let me burn their hair and beat their faces. When I was about 9 years old my mother got me into modeling. I learned quickly what the phrase «Hurry up and wait» meant so I decided to take advantage and learn everything I could from the hair and makeup people.

By the time I got into middle school, I was doing hair and makeup for all of my friend’s formal occasions. Needless to say, homecoming and prom pictures were the first prints in my portfolio.

When I got into high school modeling picked up for me but things didn’t really go into full gear until college. I loved the fashion industry so much that it didn’t matter to me how I was involved. I just wanted to be in it. So I made a deal with my agency to hire me to do hair and makeup for them if I didn’t book a job.

When I got into high school modeling picked up for me but things didn’t really go into full gear until college. I loved the fashion industry so much that it didn’t matter to me how I was involved. I just wanted to be in it. So I made a deal with my agency to hire me to do hair and makeup for them if I didn’t book a job. Soon I was teaching hair and skin care to all of my agency mates.

From there, I was hired to be my agent’s assistant and then I went on to be my agency’s booking agent. It was great but I realized I needed more. A year later I founded my own talent agency which became very successful. Five years into it, I realized that the business was running me and not the other way around. I wanted freedom so I decided to reevaluate my life and figure out what makes me the happiest. Sure enough, it was hair and makeup.
