Great customer service. Mediocre, and I mean very mediocre food. Chicken is very dry and sauce is not great.

No al a carte menu or side orders OFANYTHING. it’s combo plate or nothing. and here I just want what I’ll actually eat. This guy says there’s no pictures of separate food like this is McDonald’s. then the manager comes and says the same thing. I’m like ok… I guess y’all don’t want my money. Plenty of places in the neighborhood.

This place will probably close soon and hopefully get replace by a better bbq restaurant. Management is so ignorant, and clueless to what they offer as a restaurant.

My girlfriend and I were seated at an incredibly large table. It took 20 minutes for the waitress to come over. It took her another 10 minutes to ask for our order and another 30 minutes for our food to come out. The service was awful and the food was cold and soggy. I always take left overs home, but I told them to throw the rest of the food away.

I’ve only ate at smokey bones once a few years ago, but recently I’ve gotten smokey bones take out twice only because they had coupons. The first time the food was ok, the second time I give them the benefit of doubt because they a had another coupon offer but on this coupon it was dine only which pissed me off blah blah but I ended up still buying the food but then again I was disappointed.

TERRIBLETERRIBLE customer service. This place has 2a.m. closing engraved on a sign outside but if you walk in at 1a.m. you are strongly discouraged by manager and staff not to come in further than the hostess desk. In the said“manager“words kitchen and bar last call at 1:25a.m. and they can’t promise that your service won’t be bad. SAYWHAT? Yeah right he’s the manager and if this man is he needs to be demoted on the spot. How dare you. I’m fresh of work and hungry, drove all the way to this location, walk in just after 1:00 a.m. and then to be told, even though the sign outside says one thing we do another. I’m at a lady for words with this place. Yes I will be calling cooperate in the morning because I am sick of these places doing what they please because no one makes time to voice their feelings.

Unacceptable! First, I waited at the host booth for at least 10 – 15 minutes with out someone even acknowledging that I was there. Then when the lady came out she seated us and we sat there for about 30 and a waiter didn’t even take our drink order!!! So we did the the most responsible thing… We got up and out! I’ll would have understood if it was a busy day but not even half the restaurant was full.

Came here for the 10.99 all you can eat wings. They were not packed by a long shot but Rodney the Manager advised of a 40 minute wait(he was far from friendly or approchable) I went to the bar for a drink while we waited. My bartender Latisha was awesome as everytime I come she’s a sweetheart. Anyways, the wings are yummy and you can have them fried or smoked. I mix it up and there’s quite a few flavors to choose from. Service is mediocre at best. J

I went here today for the first time & was not impressed. There weren’t many people there so we thought it would be a smooth outing. WRONG! After being seated it took our server 10 minutes to get our drink orders. Smh. When she brought the order, she had an attitude like she was trying to rush us. Didn’t like that. I kept my game face on though. The cups she brought out with my lemonade & his coke were dirty. I sent it back. I ordered the pretzel sticks. They were good. Not great. I could tell they were microwaved. Sadness. My utensils were dirty. Like seriously? The boo had a steak & I had salmon. He had no complaints about the steak. The salmon was perfectly cooked to a T but lacked flavor! Wtf?! I wanted to complain but we had to get back to set. Not a good experience at all! Y’all cou

Giving them a solid 4. Service was attentive, food was pretty good. Broccoli tends to be treated as a throwaway vegetable at most restaurants, but theirs was good. My only negative was they had several sauces with different color lids; blue, green, yellow, red and the server did not explain what the colors meant. I tasted all the BBQ sauces and the only one that was unique was the yellow one anyway. But it would have been nice to know what you were tasting so you could judge those…

During my visit the bartender was very friendly and a really cool guy. Kind of chubby he had a beard, and he was light skin, I think his name was TJ. I actually came in to clear my mind because I just had a lot going on, so I started talking to him and all of a sudden BOOM became like a counselor to me and gave me some good ass advice. The drinks he made were perfect. The food was ok but TJ is that guy. Definitely a trophy to this establishment. He deserves a raise. Very professional with his other guests and really good at multitasking because it was busy that night and some way he found a way to still satisfy every one.

Food is good but the service is not. How can you be short staffed on a Saturday during college football season? I sat at the bar not noticed for 10 minutes before I finally had to ask for a menu. There was only one person working the bar. The manager stayed in the back and did not make any adjustments of assist. I hope the Stonecrest area realize one day that sales are down and stores have closed because of the bad service some businesses provide. People would rather drive to the same businesses elsewhere to spend their money in another part of Atlanta than to tolerate the poor management and service some of these places deliver.

ABSOLUTELYTERRIBLECUSTOMERSERVICE. From the manager and the server. I went to Atlanta for my birthday weekend of 9⁄21. My aunt recommended this place because her & my uncle visited here once and liked it, and her son loves their ribs. Well… Our waitress literally said«I ain’t gon be able to serve y’all.» of course, we ask why? she says umm… where else are the high chairs supposed to go??? she asked if we would mind if she reached over the babies(2) heads to serve us our food when it came… um… sure? okay. So… my aunt and boyfriend order/inquire about drink/drink prices. My aunt asked if they served frozen drinks & she said«no» and that they«don’t specialize in them.» WHAT?! Can I get or frozen margarita or not?! My bf asked how much a beer was. She said«I don’t know.» ANDNEVERDIDOFFERTOFINDOUTTHEPRICE, nor told him the price. My other aunt asked what brisket was and the server literally & rudely asked: «you aint never had brisket before?» who says that? my aunt asked what type of meat it was and the server said«it’s meat.» My baby started getting restless so her and my bf went to the booth behind us and played around, totally harmlessly. told my 1 year old daughter and boyfriend that«y’all gon have to come up outta this booth,» not once but TWICE. Now, I understand if she needed the booth to seat other patrons WHOAREYOUTALKINGTOLIKETHAT?!? There is a way that you say things to people ESPECIALLY when you’re working for tips. I literally thought I was getting punk’d. My daughter spilled my glass of water, the server walked away and never sent anyone over to clean it up. Asked for a manager and he acted like he didn’t understand why I was upset and said that he’ll talk to her. My party requested that we move to another section. things were going well in that section until the server argued with me about a charge on our receipt. Told me that my bf’s meal was more expensive when we ordered the EXACT. SAME. THING. The exact same thing. Like, are you serious? Called the manager over and he NEVERCAME. We waited 20 minutes for him. I was BEYOND pissed at this point, so I politely went up to the hostess stand(where the manager was, lounging and talking with his staff) and went off on him. I asked him what was talking so long and that I shouldn’t be paying for *expletive* in this place with terrible service and just okay food! and he told me to «chill.» SERIOUSLY?! My boyfriend left 5 dollars for the beer, my family paid for their food and we LEFT. Needless to say, my birthday dinner was ruined!!! the smoked wings were really good tho.

We stopped in this location on our way home from Atlanta. It’s off of I20 in the Stonecrest Mall area. We were greeted and promptly seated. It was a Sunday, and somehow we beat the lunch rush. Our server was greet. She was a little iffy on what beers further, but we were ultimately able to get pretty close to what we wanted. My partner had the smoked wings and a side of fries. I had a smokehouse chicken sandwich with a baked potato. The wings were out of this world food, as was my sandwich. We both cleaned our plates. If there was a location closer to where we live, we would definitely add this to our rotation. GREAT food, good service, lots of tv’s, and a friendly environment.

Had their traditional smokey wings with a side of extra sauce. Off the hook, right amount of smoke & seasoning… very tasty and the wings are big. U won’t be disappointed with them! I can’t speak on anything else(service, dine-in or other dishes). Only experience take-out for the wings only

First of all I should have check the star rating on this place Ugh! Food was bland, the kitchen staff must be a bunch culinary rejects that escaped from a mental institution because they got every order wrong MULTIPLETIMES!!! Please save your time, energy, and money! This place is horrible!

So, let me start off by saying that I should’ve noticed the star rating before I even got here. Ugh. This place made me so mad last night. The first thing… there are little gadgets at the end of the table to place drink, dessert and appetizer orders. There are pictures of an appetizer I really want to try. The waitress came back and said they no longer office it. Umm, then take the macaroni and cheese bites off the menu! Next, we ordered our drinks and my boyfriend told the waitress to keep the water coming because he was parched. The water needed to refilled for a good 15 minutes before she even came over and asked if we needed anything else. My appetizer was okay. just okay. We ordered our food and it took FOREVER. Then, the sandwich I ended up receiving didn’t look like the picture. It was on different bread AND it wasn’t good at all. I had them take it back. My boyfriend didn’t like his burger or onion rings either. The waitress said at one point, «I’ve got to get on my job». Uhh, ya think ma’am? She asked us to try them again in the future. No thanks! This dumb experience was enough for me. Never again.

This was my second time at a Smokey Bones. Went with my husband, daughter and son in law. Service was below sub par. And mentioning what you make per hour… are you hoping for a bigger tip? Maybe getting our drinks before our food comes! Really get a clue, better service results in a better tip. Food was awesome! If you have the time, took us over an hour for one entrée and 4 appetizers, water, 2 ice tea and one warm beer. Good smoked wings!

The good — brisket, Bones After Dark The bad — bar service, customer service, and management awareness The UGLY — consistency I go back to Smokey Bones for the brisket but my last experience may prove to be the last. We usually sit at the bar. Bar service is best described as inattentive. Although, there seems to be an adequate number of people working the bar, somehow we always leave feeling like we gave them too much tip because the service wasn’t good. lol. The bigger issue for me is the consistency. I ordered a combination platter and it came out without the garlic bread. I tried a new dirty rice side. It came out in a terrine that was I assume too big for the portion, as the rice didn’t fill the container. Do you complain or not? Tried it… no need. It tasted terrible. I don’t need any MORE of that. But, why send out a side that looks like this??? I attached a picture. Also, the sauce on the brisket was different. Now, try telling this to a new bartender and whoever she spoke to in the kitchen. I’ve only been eating this brisket since the place opened. This is not the same/right sauce. They only got 2 stars because until this last episode I liked the brisket. Even if you enjoy your food(as I usually do with the brisket), you’ll leave here shaking your head and feeling that ‘it’s always something’.

The best word to describe this establishment is «ghetto». Which is very sad because when this restaurant first opened it had a nice, family-friendly atmosphere. I went with a friend of mine on a Friday night. The place was about half full with mostly everyone sitting in the bar area. I’m not sure what the theme of the night was but there was a DJ&2 «promotion girls» walking around in short, tight black dresses with flyers in hand. Not sure what they were promoting because they just danced around the DJ all night. Speaking of the DJ, he sucked. His music choice was bad & the speakers were up way too loud. I felt like my friend & I were yelling across the table at each other all night. I ordered the spinach dip & my friend ordered the turkey burger. He requested the fried egg on top but the waitress said they stopped serving that about 6 months ago. –__– He seemed to enjoy his turkey burger but my spinach dip was horrible. The dip tasted like it was frozen then defrosted in the microwave & then broiled in the oven. It was so mushy & tasteless. The chips were bland & brittle, I’m not even sure if they were tortilla chips. O_o I also ordered an alcoholic beverage, some sort of fruity mojito, I think. It arrived in a mason jar and was weak and watered down. My friend ordered dessert, but his first 2 options were unavailable because the waitress said they were frozen. Then he asked about the chocolate cake & she informed him that she would have to see if that was frozen too. 10 minutes later she came back with the chocolate cake. I’m guessing it was the only dessert that could be defrosted quickly. It wasn’t half bad… clearly the best part of my meal. The service was ok. The waitress wasn’t rude but she wasn’t friendly either. I did notice that the waitresses didn’t have on uniforms, they were all pretty much dressed in whatever. Strange. Overall, if you’re looking for a «Dugan’s» type of crowd & experience then look no further. If you’re expecting something a little more sophisticated then prepare to be disappointed.
