Finally trust an auto repair shop! Yesterday I decided to open my sun roof as it was a beautiful day and realized shortly after that it wouldn’t close. I checked the fuse and couldn’t manually close it so this morning I left it at the shop with a note and hopped on the train to work. I get a call about an hour after they opened saying they were able to get it mostly closed but are unable to do full repairs on sun roofs. He gave me info for a good local place as well. My boyfriend picks the car up a couple hours later and it is completely closed and he refused to charge us anything! I have yet to check the seal, but this could potentially save me hundreds plus the time I’d loose with this important vehicle. Bottom line they treated us very well and went out of their way to help us very quickly. Will be coming back.

I love vr. Ive been going there since 2007 when i moved to the lisle area. Rocky is patient and always hears ya out. when something did go wrong (once in 7 years — mistakes happen) he was very apologetic about and took care of the repair at his cost. always a pretty quick turn around too and fair price. my old classic is in the garage now as they try to track down an oil leak. great crew and work. thanks rocky!!!

Let’s face it, car repairs are expensive. Hard to give 5 stars to anyplace that takes my hard earned money, but I was willing to pay these guys! I called over 5 places to get an estimate for my check engine light repairs and V&R was the least expensive. Parts are parts and you can’t get around paying for those. I was in the office when Rocky called to order them and I overheard the price quote first hand from his convo. They didn’t up charge me one penny (Firestone did about 10 bucks plus more $$$ in labor) and labor was only 63 dollars (about 45 mins of work time). Honda charged 4 times that amount, and Firestone 2 times the amount. I had my emission system replaced. Also, he told me an hour, and called me back just after an hour to tell me it was ready. That never happens! I’ll be back to visit with my next issue, car issue that is! Thanks!

If u think this place is bad, then u have never personally got to know them. When I got my license few years back my car didn’t have a horn. We called Rocky and told them the situation cuz my dad and Rocky know each other well, rocky had me bring my car there and they were all ready waiting for my car, they put a horn in no cost and I got my license, we brought everyone donuts after. They are great ppl and they are good at their job.

They suck. They charged you almost $ 100 for diagnosis without telling you up front until you try to get your car back. Don’t go there.

I have been referred here by my family. I’ve never gotten any major work done on my car here, but when I come here, I feel that the guys I speak with are very respectful and very helpful whenever I am there. Whenever I bring in my car, the work is always completed in a reasonable amount of time.
