Is there a way to give a company less than one star? Go Configure is the worst. They showed up to assemble a play structure, and then they left without telling me, without assembling it. The company told me they’d be calling me within 48 business hours to set up a new appointment. They never did. The guys who came to my house were rude, the company rep on the phone was rude, and my kids ask me every day when they’re going to get to play outside. I bought this playstructure because delivery and assembly were included in the price, but now I’m going to have to pay for assembly myself. Assholes.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! I would never recommend this company to any friends family or strangers I bought a Lifetime 8′ x 5′ shed from Sam’s Club. Sam’s Club has a partnership with GO CONFIGURE. I paid GO CONFIGURE approximately $ 350 for the installation. I would have done it myself, but I’m working over 70 hours a week. I inspected the completed job myself. The doors were not even, so the sliding locking bolt would not engage. There were five screws missing and an anchor bolt washer missing. An installer returned with the missing washer and 1 out of 5 screws. I checked the one screw and it was not the correct length. The installer also stated the concrete foundation was not even, so the doors would not line up properly for the sliding bolt. I asked for a Senior installer to come and inspect the work and make the necessary corrections. I was told that the next visit would be a COD (Cash-​on-​delivery) Repair. I could not believe GO CONFIGURE was prepared to charge me to bring their workmanship up to the 100% quality expectations that cost me $ 350. I ended up taking a day off from work and making a $ 5 purchase at Home Depot for the proper screws and some resin shims. Now all of the missing screws are installed and the doors are even. The sliding bolt engages perfectly. This correction took me 10 minutes, but cost me an entire day of pay. Thanks GO CONFIGURE and thanks for finding a terrible partner SAM’S CLUB.

Do not shop at Dick’s Sporting Goods or use Go Configure! This is a scam! I have had 3 appointments to install a basketball hoop and have spent over $ 300 and taken time of for all appointments.

This place should be out of business. I purchased a swing set from Sams and they arrived late then worked on it for 2.5 hours then told me it was getting late and they had to go. They couldn’t return until Sunday. He was also late on Sunday. What pissed me off even more is that they lied to the home office stating that they only left because it was after sun down. NO TRUE. They left the boxes in my yard and didnt even tighten down the bolts. I refuse to pay 500.00 for this horrible service. The workers are not professional and are very lazy.

Go Configure in Los Angeles did a fantastic job assembling a new piece of Bowflex. Appointment easily set up, team was super polite, careful with boxes and around furniture, made sure I understood how to use everything and were finished in one hour. Thank you for the great job!

I would give no stars if I could-​these guys are literally con artists. I ordered a playset from Amazon and ordered the service for Go Configure to put it together. I bought «one tower playset» and my playset is one tower and in fact, is nearly identical to the one that they show as an example. This service was $ 350. When I went to contact Go Configure to nail down an assembly date they informed me that it would be $ 815! Ridiculous.

Extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with the service, the item they attempted to put together is backwards and a hot mess. I don’t even know what to do with the item anymore. I was really looking forward to having this item put together, shame on me for trusting amazon/​go figure inc with a product I really cared about. Really sad customer, because I am a friendly guy I even tipped them. Feel extremely dissatisfied to the point of tears. My product looks ruined and horrible. Please Amazon don’t trust Go Figure Inc. contractors, they will not get the job done and just make an even bigger mess of the product you ordered, its like $ 500 plus dollars down the drain.

I really wanted to give this company the benefit of doubt, but I have to agree with the rest of the reviews, they are a hot mess. I needed an in ground bball hoop to be installed, and initially it felt it was running smoothly until they failed to coordinate the JULIE 811 survey. They claim they had a glotch with scheduling while my conversations with JULIE indicated they would be ready as promised, so Go Configure says they have to reschedule and they will call me back with a day and time. No such luck, after multiple attempts nothing. No calls, no action. Now I am working with another vendor who claims he fixes over 40 Go Configure installations a year because they mess up. He said consider it a blessing they botched my job.

Go Configure found a way to set the bar even lower in customer service, and add insult to injury on top of it. This ordeal has spun completely out of control at the incapable hands of the worst organized company (your one job is assembly and you’ve failed twice at it).
Mar 25 — Order placed on Amazon for assembly services. I selected appointment dates of 31MAR/​1APR. Was told I would receive a phone call or email to confirm 24−48hr prior

Apr 1 — Concerned No one had contacted me, I called Go Configure INC. Was told my appointment had not even been scheduled yet and that dates I selected on Amazon were irrelevant. I would have to wait until they scheduled me.
Apr 2 — Received an email stating assembly would take place on Thursday April 7 at 5 – 8 PM. Not sure who picked that date, but at least it was forward progress. I also confirmed the Make/​Model of the desk to Go Configure. An email was sent detailing the exact product to be assembled.
Apr 7 — 5pm no sign of the technician. 6:30pm finally a knock at the door. I show the tech the desk to be assembled and he slowly gets to work. About 2 hours later he asks for help, saying he cant get the holes to line up. After pointing out parts are assembled incorrectly, and needs to be fixed, I walked out of the room. About 10pm I hear a loud bang, I immediately return to see my desk hutch smashed. The tech unable to explain what had happened, but a pathetic line of «this is why I don’t like particle board.» Its after 1130pm. I have to be at work early the next morning, my desk is ruined, my headache is only growing at this point.
Apr 12 — Was informed by Go Congifure INC the replacement parts had been ordered. «I am very sorry for the delay. The technician is ordering the broken part. I will have somebody from the repair department contact you as soon as we have all the details.» Was ensured over the phone that a tech would be at my house by the end of the week to complete the repair (no later then APR 15).
Apr 18 — After calling to check the status of my repair parts, was told they sill had not been ordered, but the Repair Manager was now involved and handling the order. «We are having issues with ordering the broken parts from the manufacturer. I will request the Manager give you a call with any updates.» (there was no call)
Apr 21 — Received the following email
«I received an email today stating that you had a broken desk from one of our contractors and that it has not been repaired yet. I apologize for the delay as this is the first I have heard about it. If you could give me the manufacturer and model name I will make sure these parts get ordered today. The information I have in the computer doesn’t have any information on the product. Feel free to call or email me the information. Thanks and have a great day.

Apr 22 — I spoke to Brent at Go Configure. He said the parts had been ordered, but could not provide a date of delivery or any type of tracking information. Was promised an update as soon as one was available.
Apr 27 — GoConfigure asks for the make and model of the hutch AGAIN, saying they need it to order parts. I provide the SKU, product name, and link to the sales page for at least the FOURTH time. This time it appears the hutch was finally ordered, despite being lied to twice before by two different employees that the repair order had been placed. Mistakes are one thing, blatant lies to a customer are INEXCUSABLE!
Apr 29 — GoConfiure send email confirming an appointment date of 28 June from 8−11am to complete desk. (Ignoring the fact it’s over 2 months away, and during a time I work. This empty act only further shows the lack of communication with customers and ZERO regard for them).
May 2 — The Monday GoConfigure is supposed to call and confirm, Shockingly NO CALL
May 3 — NO CALL May 4 — NO CALL
May 5 — Second Hutch is delivered. Contact Go Configure to confirm an appointment time, spoke to Brent Trembly. He said he was at a job site and would call me back as soon as he returned to the office to schedule a time. Did not receive a call back, was not surprised.
May 6 — Received an email with an appointment date and time for May 7 between 1 and 5
May 7 — Assembler arrives at 4:30pm. All seems like it might finally work out. My optimism was swiftly crushed. At about 6:40pm I hear a loud crash. I arrive upstairs to find a second smashed hutch cluttering up my hallway and a baffled assembler pointing out the two nice sized holes he made in my drywall as a result. I also discovered an equally upsetting chip to the doorway trim. Speaking to Brent Trembly, I expressed my utter frustration and belief that GoConfigure was incapable of completing this job. He was told I would have to wait until he returned to the office Monday before we could brainstorm the next solution. ZERO expectations they will fix this. STAY AWAY FROM THIS NIGHTMARE COMPANY!!!

Worst customer services I have experienced from a company. The company offer 5 – 8 pm services, therefore, I schedule an appointment after work because I am working mom and my husband is deployed. While at work, I got a call that the techninian was an hour away. He was arriving 5 hours earlier then the schedule time and before equipment was even delivered. The irony was that I got an email from the assistant account executive (David) confirming the techninian was schedule to arrive after 4pm. I called the customer service number and spoke with Ashton. According to Ashton, the technician was driving 45 mins away to come assemble our equipment and could not accommodate the initial time. However, he would be able to reschedule a week later from 11 – 3. This company doesn’t communicate with each other, have their own interest in mind, and don’t care about customer satisfaction. Speaking with Ashton was the worst customer service I received. I would not recommend his company. Why pay a company to accommodate you into their scehdule.

What I would have done differently if I would have read these reviews before.

So disappointed in the customer service, lack of effort trying to resolve a problem caused from employees not scheduling a delivery date until the 7^th day of calling in only to finally ask to speak to a manager who scheduled the appointment while we were speaking (I received the text confirmation while we were on the phone, so I know she did it right then after speaking to a dispatcher every day for a week.)
My order was placed 7 days before delivery was required, they stated this wouldn’t be a problem because they only required 5 – 7 business days. My daughter’s second birthday party was that Saturday, I requested Wed, Thurs, Fri delivery dates. On the Monday after I placed the order, I was notified that I owed an additional $ 159, not true, I was told that there would be no additional delivery charge, so they needed to get that resolved. They did, on Wednesday. I called and asked to speak to a supervisor on Wednesday, no call back, called again Thursday, no call back. Friday I finally speak to a supervisor, Tamika, who was tremendously AWFUL! To the point I specifically asked to be transferred to another supervisor on the east coast after she cancelled my order.
Go Configure mentioned multiple times that the ball was dropped on their end, I appreciated that, the last gentleman I spoke to was very helpful. I concur with all the reviews I have read today while trying to warn the many others that may consider using this service, only wish I would have done so sooner.
This company has made this a complete miserable experience, little girl’s birthday is off and I have two devastated toddlers to handle. I will never do this again!

Bought a gazebo from Sam’s Club. Paid $ 400+ for installation. Contractor showed up at last minute and got rained out. Rescheduled for a week later. Again, showed up at last minute with inadequate help. Me and my son had to help assemble. Next day, I had to re-​do part of the project that was improperly assembled. Filed complaint. Took two weeks to finally get a response. Only reason they are getting two stars is that they agreed to refund half my assembly/​delivery fee.

TL;DR: I haven’t had to leave a one star review in a very long time. Although this company gives you the illusion that you can pick your install time, it’s really about when THEY want to do the install for you. And, getting them to change it to a time you need is not going to happen.
On April 18^th, I ordered a treadmill assembly from Go Configure on Amazon, along with a new treadmill. I picked three install times (5−8pm) on a Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
The week before the install, Go Configure gives me an automated phone call and notified me that the install time would be ⁴⁄₂₈ from something like 11am-​1pm. Told them «No, sorry, that’s not what I picked.» They told me they would call the tech and see what they could do about the time.
Fast forward to Tuesday, April 26^th. Go Configure finally calls me back and said the tech would be here from 3pm-​7pm on Wednesday, ⁴⁄₂₇ (I have the voicemail in my inbox). They said the times I picked on Amazon were irrelevant. So, I rush to get home on Wednesday, and come 7PM, no tech. I called Go Configure, and they stated that the appointment was for TOMORROW, not today. I asked them why they told me that the appointment was today, and essentially got an «I’m sorry, but it’s scheduled tomorrow.» I went ahead and just asked them to cancel the assembly.
So, by my count, I have these people three chances. The first is when I gave them my three desired dates/​times for when I would be home and could be here for them to do the assembly. Chance #2 was last Thursday, and chance #3 was earlier this evening. I only give companies three chances before I cut them loose and go an alternative route.
Please don’t purchase assembly from this company. I’ve already written Amazon and asked for a full refund, and the treadmill and extended warranty I also purchased are going back. (There was an issue with the freight company, too, but that’s the subject for another review.) I’ll find the same unit locally (even if I have to pay more) and will find a local company that can assemble it for me.
Edit: I contacted Amazon, and they saved the sale. They refunded what the assembly would cost me at a local provider, and I have a local treadmill assembler coming over this week. They cancelled out the GC appointment, and that is that…

Wow!!! I really wish I had looked at the ratings before scheduling (and paying up front) for their delivery and set-​up service. We bought a large patio set at Sam’s that would not fit in my car, so we got the delivery through the Sam’s club. They scheduled it two weeks out, annoying, but I figured they must be busy. Day of the delivery they call & cancel because «it looks like it might rain», it didn’t. They said they would call back in an hour or so with a new date. Nobody ever called (which seems to be a very common complaint). Called them the next morning & they said it would be another week, and the weather forecast for next week is rain, so probably not going to get it then either. I canceled the order & went & rented a truck so we could do it ourselves.
In short, I would stay away from using this company based on ALL of the negative reviews that sound so similar.

Awful customer service. They don’t find a way to accommodate customers that were patiently waiting for the date which they scheduled you in for installation rains. There response is that is not their fault that raining well here’s a news flash Sherlock it’s definitely not the customers fault either. «They suck“for the money they change upfront is just not worth it.

Utterly useless and incompetent. They ignored the first three times I request d and suggested a weekend when I was not available. When I finally got a date scheduled it was over 2 weeks further out.
On the day of the appointment the «technician» never showed. I called to ask what was happening and was put on hold for 30 minutes, and then was told they could not get hold of the technician or his manager and they would call me back. An hour later there was no return call, so I called them and was told they did not know when the technician would come and could I reschedule. At that point I cancelled the service and will look for another, competent company to do the work.

Then had the nerve to email me with a date like 2 weeks from now, on a time in the day i would not be home! Bascially scheduled themselves.
After much fighting on the phone and over a week later they gave me a time a week from now.
Today cancelling that one!
after reading this Unilocal board am extremely doubtful they will come and think i will do it myself and cancel and save my 70.00.
what baffles is is there is NO connection for quality on amazons part, sams and dicks sporting good and so many others that offer these creeps as «nationally recognized servcie providers»

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I ordered a machine via BoFlex. I paid extra to have the item assembled in my home due to my busy work schedule. I had to call several times to find out when the technician would be at my home. Each time I was told I was not on the schedule, so they would email their rep for the area. I finally gave up. What a joke. I gave them one star for a rating because there was no option for a «0» rating.

Service Tech damaged my new M5 Bowflex Max Trainer… Even put the handle on backwards the the first time & on the wrong side. Not professional at all. Smooth talker with no skills. Do not use GO CONFIGURE to put together work out equipment.

For my son’s 5^th birthday, my mother bought him a very large playground from Sam’s Club. I was going to take a stab at putting it together, but lack of time and resources led us to use Sam’s Club’s «installation service» which is apparently subcontracted through Go Configure, INC.
I received a call stating that our installers would be coming on a Sunday between 10am and 2pm. I waited till around 2:30pm and called Go Configure, INC. The support rep had me on hold for about 15 minutes while she tried to track down the subcontracted subcontractor who was supposed to come install the playset. She then informed me that they were running very late, but were on their way. Another hour went by, and they had still not arrived. This time my mother called and got in touch with the actual sub-​sub contractor. The husband-​wife team would not be making it because they previous job took longer than expected and he had actually injured his leg or something.
They were next scheduled to come that Wednesday and come early to do it «all in one day.» Once again, they did not show up in their allotted time slot and we called them directly. They had pretty much the same excuse. Finally they arrived later than they had promised and began the job.
They didn’t finish, and told us they would be back «first thing» in the morning. The next day they didn’t show up until around 11am. Hardly the first thing in the morning.
The whole thing was an awful experience. The guy didn’t do a great job putting the set together, things like the picnic table were not level, and they left all of the boxes for us to clean up. The set wasn’t fully done until 5 days after they said it would be completed.
I can’t recommend anyone use Go Configure INC as they don’t really seem to care about who they subcontract out to.
