A native of Naperville, Dr. Tyson Grover has cared for pets in the western suburbs of Chicago since 2001.

Dr. Grover completed his undergraduate education at Simpson College and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology in 1996. He went on to continue his veterinary education at Iowa State College of Veterinary Medicine and was awarded his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2001.

Stem cell treatments and surgery are among his many professional interests. Dr. Grover is certified by VetStem to perform veterinary stem cell therapy.

Dr. Grover remains on the cutting edge of veterinary medicine through extensive continuing education. He holds continuing education certificates in ultrasound, laparoscopic surgery and liver diseases. Surgery both orthopedic and soft tissue, ultrasound and internal medicine are among his many professional interests.

Dr Grover is an EXCELLENT veterinarian. We have been with him for nearly 10 ½ years. He is a huge reason our 10 ½ year old Newfie is still doing as well as she is. He is thorough and compassionate to our pets and us. HIs clinical skills are excellent. He always lets us know what our options are, the pros and cons of each option and allows us to decide what may work best for us. We really appreciate that. Dr Grover really takes the time to make sure our pets are comfortable while he examines them. He is very patient and always willing to answer my questions. I recently had to take my Newfie to the previous clinic Dr Grover was affiliated with and due to time constraints I just asked for the first available vet. I didn’t realize at the time that Dr Grover had left that practice. It wasn’t until I got home that I noticed on the business card that Dr Grover’s name was missing. I immediately «Googled» Dr Grover and was so relieved to find that he was still in the area. I will be calling his office very soon to bring my cat in for his vaccines.

My dogs have patients of Dr. Grover’s for over 3 years. Dr. Grover genuinely cares for animals and clearly loves what he does.
My dog was constantly scratching her front ‘elbow’ area for months. I had one vet tell me she had mange and another suggest a 400 dollar biopsy to see what was wrong. My aunt referred me to Dr. Grover and I could be more thankful. I took my dog to Dr. Grover. He suggested I switch her food to a grain free kibble– after a month her elbow was all clear and we haven’t had a problem since. I approve his honest opinion and practical advice.
Over the last three years I’ve taken my dogs to Dr. Grover and he nails it every time.

Dr. Grover is extremely knowledgeable and also extremely compassionate to both the animals he is treating and their owners. I love that he has gotten right down on the floor to connect with my pets as a friend before he even examines them. I feel he offers expert opinions and is very thorough in assessing any problem my pets have had. I am very thankful for all the extra help and compassion he had for me and my aging cocker spaniel last year. He helped us through a very rough time with much love until my beloved dog and I had to say good-​bye. I will never forget that. I highly recommend Dr. Grover.

Outstanding vet. Have been with him for about 10 years. A specialty vet diagnosed ACL tear. Dr Grover found she had a bad hip, no tear. It makes me sick to think what would have happened if she went ahead and had the ACL surgery.
He is smart, thorough, kind and yes, friendly! Takes all the time you need at visits. Discusses ALL options with you. We love and trust him and so do our dogs. Will follow him anywhere!

While the vet tech is nice, I would look elsewhere. This vet does not seem to know what he’s doing. There are plenty of other good vets in the area.
I took a kitten there for a second opinion about a fungal infection. He disagreed with the first opinion– dismissing the diagnoses entirely based on his observation. A test came back showing the first opinion was correct. How a vet can be so dramatically wrong is scary.
