Vince’s Farm and Nursery

Vince’s is a local produce and flower stand easy to find on B&A Blvd just south of the beltway (although I’m not sure it always had that name.) They are a smaller operation than some garden centers in the area, but they still have a surprisingly large and varied selection. Whether you’re looking for flowers or fresh fruit and vegetables, this is the place to go if you don’t like dealing with the crowds and bankers hours of most farmers markets. We stopped today because we saw the sign for local honey (the only kind to get,) and we picked up some incredibly flavorful grapes and peaches while we were there as well. Parking can be a chore sometimes, as the tiny road their lot is on has a well-​attended church close by, but you just need to exercise some patience and attention, especially if you’re going to attempt the left onto the busy B&A Blvd or waiting for someone who is. I’m not sure if they’re open in the winter, but if you like your produce good, local, and convenient, then Vince’s is the place to get it.
