K & K Tires

I always receive excellent service at K&K. The manager, Scott, is very professional. I’ve visited K&K at least five times for new tires and had special brands ordered as well. The ordered tires took one day to arrive. I’ve found K&K to have the best prices for tires over all other spots and you’re not waiting around all day. Oh, and they actually answer the phone politely when you call! I will remain a customer as long as they continue this great service.

From my experience you cannot beat the service or prices. So far I’ve only had them fix flats (plugs) but when it comes time to replace my tires I will definitely come here. As said in other reviews they do have an odd setup — it is first-​come-​first-​served. People line up in their vehicles on the road outside and go in as space is made available. Road is not huge and note that some commercial trucks use this place as well, so things sometimes get confusing and a bit tight. But once in they are fast, do great work, and their prices are great.
It does look like Sanford and Son’s junkyard, however they do tires and only tires, and they do them well. Highly recommended. Also highly recommend getting there about 15 minute prior to their daily opening if possible to get in front of the line. I’ve never done otherwise, but you may end up waiting for quite a while if you don’t, which is a tribute to their reputation: LOTS of customers.

K&K has been a family secret/​tradition for many years and I was pleasantly surprised to see that Unilocal was in on the secret.
The prices are beyond reasonable and the employees are always friendly. It’s really bare bones no frills which is right up my alley when it comes with cheap reliable service. There’s usually a line so come about 15 minutes before they open or off hours, like today I came at 10:45 on a Thursday and I was in and out in less then 10 minutes.

I stumbled up K & K tires after discovering a flat tire after leaving a conference. I did a Unilocal search and they were closest tire dealer to where I had broken down. After being dropped by the tow truck, my day went up and up! Not only did they have me pull into the parking lot right away, but three different employees came right out to see what I needed. Honestly, I had assumed they’d try and sell me a new tire for sure but instead, they quickly removed my tire, checked it for a leak, patched it and had me on the road within 15 minutes. $ 20! I was shocked and thrilled. The owner (I think) and everyone there was super nice and super helpful! I’ll be back for sure and will recommend them to all of my neighbors!

A tire shop that has a line to get in — that’s what i am talking about! Came to balance all of 4 tires. Cost: $ 8.50 a piece, that’s a great price in my book. People who work here are great at what they do, and very friendly too. Highly recommend.

Used tire, mounted, balanced as less than 40 bucks a tire! Super fast service and everyone there was friend and efficient. I would go back for used tires and new ones.

Friendly staff, got me in and out for a leaking tire quick, it was CHEAP.

I bought 4 tires on 12÷30÷13 and by 1÷30÷14 one was flat. They offer a 30 day warranty but didn’t apply to me since it wasn’t in the tread it was in the side. The labor is cheap — on $ 20 — for 4 tires and I did save money. However they don’t honor warranty and I personally think the tires are defective. I have never had a brand new tire only last one month. They were kind enough to sell me another new tire minus taxes, labor but it still cost me more money — you get what you pay for. I told two friends not to go here but to the Tire Network instead. Don’t waste your time here!

They are quick and stock more tires than the big chains.
I needed tires for my 2000 Toyota Sienna and many chains only offered tires at $ 200 each ouch and 2 week wait since they did not have in stock.
K & K had several new tires on stock as low as $ 84 per tire YAY!

K&K sells new and used tires. Service is as fast as it can be considering they stay very busy. There is usually a line of cars up the street when I get there later. I have a repair shop right around the corner and even though I have used tires to sell as well, I send all my customers looking for used tires over to them because I know the quality of the used tire is much better from them. And the used tires I could sell are not mine but the previous shop owners and now my landlords. He wishes I would sell them for him but I can’t put junk on cars and the used tires I have here are junk. I have personally been there many times and so have my friends and my family. When money is tight K&K gives you the most for your buck. I put 4 on my dad’s car last year and when I can’t afford new tires (I know, I own an auto shop but I can’t afford new tires… I just opened in July and that’s why) they are my best option. They usually give you deals when you’re purchasing more than one tire and/​or paying in cash. They’ve worked with me when I was short also. Not the greatest looking place but they have a huge inventory of tires so any time I’ve gone, I’ve gotten what I needed.

What a great place to get tires, used or new. I specifically get used tires from K&K and I have never had a problem. I know people are weary of used fearing that the tread is not good or they are defected, simply this is not true. I am member at Costco and I always put air in my tires at Costco because the air is free if you are a member. Every time I have gone to K&K to get used tires I always ask the Costco tire techs how do my tires look and they always say I have good tread left on them to last me for a while. So there you have it, you can’t go wrong with K&K Tires, not to mention they are fast and efficient. Also the price of the tires has always stayed the same, and they carry name brands. I currently have four Goodyear’s on my car.

Simply… these guys are O-​mazing. Staff were friendly, courteous, and quick! There were at least 8 people in front of me but my wait was approx. 20 minutes. These guys don’t do a rush job either. It was real quality service. This was my first time getting a used tire so I was a little apprehensive because there are nothing but bad reviews about getting used tires, but as it turns out, their used tire looked better than the tires that were already on my car. I’ve had no problems at all! Totally recommend!

There were very quick and efficient. This is my first time getting a used tire and I will have to say I’m impressed.

Had a nail in my tire, went to Walmart and was told that I needed 4 new tires. I backed out and found K&K on my GPS. The guy couldn’t fix it. I asked if I needed new ones, he told me that I was not in need and gave me a time frame where I might need to think about it. He told me that he would give me a used tire to replace the ruined one since I would be getting new ones later, and only charged me a few dollars more than the repair would have cost me. They worked quickly, and got me back on tne road.
I highly recommend them for their speedy service, but mostly for their honesty.

I’m a huge fan of giving people 5 stars for deserving greatness and these guys definitely deserve as many stars as possible. After searching and explaining to multiple auto and tire places my horror story of crap tires/​rims with no help at all, these guys took me under their wing.
Not only did they know what I (a not-​so-​much versed in tire lingo lady) was trying to say, they knew what I needed and they saved me HALF of what the dealership would charge. Now I have 4 brand new, perfect size tires and wheels!!! Anyone with tire issues in the city can understand my new excitement. (Thanks a lot pothole… you jerk!)
K&K are a first come first serve basis, so no appoinment necessary. I had 3 cars ahead of me and still got in and out in less than 40 minutes. I felt like I was dealing with a pit crew here. Fast, efficient, and money saving. I’m so happy with these guys, I’m thinking of sending some cookies their way!

If you don’t want to spend 300 per tires, give this place a try. I bought 285 35 18 tires for 25 dollars each. They had half treads left and it’s 30 bucks mounted on your wheels. Pretty fast service. I can’t believe I’m the first one to review this place! They have over 3000 tires there! give it a try
