History

Established in 2007.

Vivid Reflections auto salon came to fruition in 2005 while I was attending the College of Lake County’s Technical Campus for automotive repair. My teachers and peers alike took notice that my cars were always spotless, no matter the weather. On days that we were in the shop and had nothing going on, I would be busy detailing people’s cars. Always satisfied, word of mouth got around and I began building a clientele base. When I graduated high school in 2007, I took this and turned it into a small business. I’m a car guy through and through and I’m meticulous about my cars, and I am happy to be able to pass that on through my customers.

My name is Eric and I am the owner of Vivid Reflections Auto Salon. I am absolutely car crazy — from racing, to repairing, to detailing — I love all facets of the hobby. What you see here is something that began as a small hobby back in 2005 in Auto Shop in high school where people took note that I always had the cleanest vehicles in my class and they wanted their vehicles brought up to the levels of cleanliness mine exhibited. Thus, the foundation for VRAS was laid. I am not a high-​volume shop, but a guy doing this out of his garage as a side venture. Therefore, not only am I able to deliver a better, more cost-​effective service to you, but I am able to deliver a superior product. I treat every vehicle as if it’s my own, and I am not satisfied unless the vehicle is absolutely perfect when it leaves my hands.
