Used their services last weekend & I couldn’t be happier. The wife decided at 3pm on Sunday night that she no longer wanted to catch the 5pm train to the city. I gave them a call on the off chance they would have a car & driver for us. They had a car but were unsure they could get a driver on such short notice. The owner made a few calls then called me back within 5 minutes and said well pick you up at 5pm. Not only were they super accommodating, the rate was beyond fair and the car was gorgeous! Driver was about as professional as a chauffeur can get. I will only use TJ from now on & I suggest you do the same!

Booked a Limo for my best friends Bachelorette Party! I live near Lindenhurst but the pick up was in Oceanside and we went into the city! Everyone was super nice, the prices were good, and driver showed up promptly and was awesome at taking us into the city since I did not get motion sickness! (I get car sick easily and was nervous about this since there’s always stop and go traffic)
The limo exceeded expectations! It was so snazzy and up to date on the inside, I wish I took pictures before we unloaded all our stuff. And of course being able to hook up my phone via bluetooth was great too! (I love being the Dj lol)
Definitely will be calling them again in the near future!

The owner Penny had called me personally to address any concerns I had. When she couldn’t accommodate me personally she went out of her way to give me a excellent recommendation and great advice. I will certainly be calling this company for any future needs.

I have been a client of T & J Limos for the last 5 years, my family and I called them regularly over the years and prior to last June I would have rated them 5 stars. Their service was excellent, their drivers were the best in the business and John Casey, one of the owners, always put the client first. Our relationship was one that he had my credit card on file and charged it. Quite simply, I trusted him completely. Unfortunately, this all changed last June.
My daughter was getting married and I emailed John with respect to supplying transportation for the day. There were a total of 3 «jobs», the most important being for the bridal party, we were going from the Garden City Hyatt to Westbury Manor (approximately a 10 minute drive). I was given a quote for all 3 jobs; although I requested a breakdown I never received one. I emailed John a few days before and asked who the driver was. I was told it was a «new guy».
The day arrived; it was hot, in the 90’s. The driver, a kid in his 20’s who was not professionally dressed, parked the car and came inside the lobby to wait. We were notified the car had arrived (a 12 passenger white stretch limo) and came downstairs. The first thing I noticed was a big decal on the side of the car, «Gold Star». I realized then that John contracted out the job and never told me. I ordered and paid for a T&J car and a T&J driver, not «Gold Star» Upon entering the limo we found it unbearably hot. The driver was visibly annoyed and put on the air conditioning which was not working (something about there being 2 compressors and it taking a long time to kick in). There were only warm bottles of water in the car, no ice.
We arrived at Westbury Manor, the bride (who weighs about 100 lbs) was sick. I called John immediately and quite bluntly asked «what the hell». I explained the situation and he promised to look into it and get back to me. A few weeks passed and I heard nothing. I continued to contact John and finally he responded. I was told that he spoke with the owner of Gold Star as well as the driver we had that day. I learned of the «not leaving a car running policy». I was also told that there was a bottle of champagne in the car (news to me). John also deducted the driver’s tip but I still was not provided a breakdown of the day’s charges. I sent John a picture of the car which clearly shows there was nothing cold to drink in the car that day and told him that I was very disappointed that he chose to take the word of a driver, who was not even his driver, over a long time client. I also mentioned that I did the math and determined that I paid $ 300 for this 10 minute drive in a car with no air conditioning. I believe $ 300 would have entitled me to an air conditioned car by either (a) leaving the car running (b) the driver having us to wait in the hotel lobby until he could get the car cooled off.
John Casey has not responded (it’s been 2 months since my last email). I am now dealing with my credit card company to contest these charges. Obviously I am very disappointed and saddened that T & J limo chose not to handle this matter in a more professional manner but it is their loss. There are many more limo companies on Long Island to choose from, hopefully much more professional than T & J.
