Love this place! Delcious fast homemade southern comfort food. I had the baby back ribs, they were so meaty and tender. Came completely off the bone. My boyfriend had the Dr. Pepper pulled pork sandwich and loved it. Friendly service too :) we will definitely be going back!

I love this place! My food is always cooked to perfection. The staff is extremely friendly, the orders arrive hot and fresh. Keep up the good work.

Tried this spot for take-​out on this rainy Friday night. The food was really fresh and flavorful. My husband got fried chicken and said it was great. Mac n cheese was really good– better than most bbq places. I had the pulled bbq chicken and it was very moist, however it was made with some kind of sage seasoning and I hate sage, so I wish I had known that when we ordered. The cornbread that comes with the meals was really good too. Will definitely give it another try.

Fantastic place. The «pigs on a wing» (BBQ pulled pork over chicken wings) is heavenly and the babyback ribs were fantastic. Can’t wait to head back there.

Ordered Delivery and the food was right on time. Quality food. The price is right but felt the portions could have been a little bigger. I would recommend to my friends.

Sorry to say today was my first time there and my last. cream spinach is the worst. Macaroni and cheese is horrible ribs are ok chicken is greasy but tasty. baked beans ok. But never again!!!

Soooooo delicious this is what down home Southern cooking is. Quick delivery to home and just good olé fashioned goodness. A guilty pleasure but make it happen !!

Had this for the first time tonight. I had the chicken and waffles. The boy had the mac n cheese burger. We got the spinach bacon queso as an app. The girl who took our order was professional and polite. The food was delivered quickly and still hot. The food was beyond amazing. Good old comfort food at it’s best!

Gross of all grossness is all I have to say!!! Ughhhh I puked for 2 days!!! Anyone who wrote a comment any different is related or connected because this food is beyond GROSS!!! Feathers still on the wings BTW!

I just tried Pigs on a Wing for the first time and boy was I surprised. Great Barbecue in Lindenhurst LI. They have chicken and waffles. OMG. I love chicken and waffles. But I was in the mood for some ribs. They were fall off the bone good. And the sauce and rub was absolutely phenomenal. They have so much on their menu it’ll take 10 times to check out everything. The people that own it are so helpful in explaining the various items on the menu and how there prepared. Can’t wait to come back for more

Chef is talented, the Chicken and Waffles with the Sriracha Maple Syrup. wow…Waffles r delish… Chicken Dinners r great for the family meals… Menu has a great selection and very affordable. Portions are just RIGHT… gLAD this is close by… lady at the front always is very helpful :-)

Holy pig this place is amazing food is fresh and a large amount you must try the chicken and waffle sandwich and the mac and cheese burger amazing if you are not stopping here for lunch or dinner you are missing out. The staff is very friendly to and very helpful. A+++++++++

First time trying this place and I’m glad I did. I got the chicken and waffles entrée with a side of Mac
And cheese. the chicken was delicious and fried perfectly and the waffles were just awesome drenched in maple syrup. Can’t wait to go back.

Stopped in tonight on a whim for some take out with the woman, we brought the food over to my brother’s house for dinner. We had gotten the family meal number 4 which came to $ 40 with tax and included chicken, ribs, shrimp, 2 large sides and cornbread.
The food was great and totally hit the spot. Nice staff, clean takeout joint. We will definitely be back.

This is a take out BBQ joint. They have a few stools in the front but I wouldn’t dare eat inside. It was over 90 degrees with high humidity when I came and this place has no air conditioning. Just a flimsy fan blowing the hot air around. It was hotter inside the store than outside. I felt so bad for the the staff working in that awful condition.
Ordered the fried chicken and ribs combo. Instead of slaw, I opted for baked beans. It also comes with a drink, fries and corn bread. I wish I just had the meats without the sides. Fries were soggy, baked beans weren’t so good and the corn bread was more like a cake and too sweet. However, the meats were awesome. Fantastic, juicy, full of flavor fried chicken. Not greasy at all and spiced well. The ribs were equally great made just how I like. Grilled and drowned in a delicious barbecue sauce. I would come back just for the meats and skip the sides. I just wish they had brisket on the menu. Seeing how they did the chicken and ribs, they’d probably make a serious brisket. When the weather cools off, I’d definitely come back for the BBQ meats only.

Pigs on a wing? You mean wings on a pig? Like when pigs fly? I bet when the owners of this place were coming up with a restaurant concept some smart ass said there’d be a great BBQ/​chicken place in Lindenhurst when pigs fly… The rest was history. There was a similar place here and then what seemed like overnight Pigs on a Wing popped up.
I’m glad they did because the menu is much better and the food found the flavor that the previous place had seemed to lose. I have never been inside but of the many times I’ve driven by it always seemed organized and clean. We usually get delivery and both the person who takes the order and the delivery person are very polite and helpful. Also fast, which is key in keeping the food tasty.
As I mentioned the menu is bigger and My wife knows I have a difficult time deciding on a meal when there are multiple good options to choose from. So I’m not saying that she did it on purpose but we ordered what we had in the past but added some spare ribs. I didn’t realize till after that the menu was bigger. HOW COULD YOU NOT LET ME ORDER THE CHICKEN AND WAFFLE SANDWICH??? (I will have to back and report on all of the other goodies I try there.
Now on to what we did have. The creamed spinach is excellent as is the now flavorful mac and cheese. I give two thumbs up for that. We also ordered a full rack or Brontosaurus spare ribs. Seriously these things are huge! They seemed to be grilled which I like and the BBQ sauce was good if not a little too plentiful for my liking. The chicken was as it always is, nice and crispy and juicy but was a tad salty which then made the sides seems bland which they weren’t.
Saltiness aside I am glad Pigs on a Wing have made their home here in Lindy. (Have I been here long enough to say Lindy? Is it even acceptable to say it at all?) I would definitely recommend them to anyone and will report my findings on the chicken and waffle sandwich.

The meal was okay but I feel that they can improve in a few ways.
I ordered two appetizers just to get a sample of their offerings. I had the popcorn shrimp and the rib tips. The shrimp was small and bready. The breading was the generic kind you get when you get a popcorn shrimp frozen tv dinner. No sauce was provided for the shrimp at all. Some tartar would have been nice. They were dry and crunchy so having something to dip them in would have made all the difference. It doesn’t seem like these shrimp were cleaned carefully at all. Some of the shrimp still had the tails on and there were also just some breaded fried tails in the container that were not attached to any shrimp. I hope these breaded tails didn’t count towards the total of 20 shrimp that were supposed to be in the order but it was too late to start counting them at this point since I had already begun eating.
The rib tips were better than the shrimp. The sauce did however taste store bought. There were also too many fatty pieces which I ended up spitting out. The meat itself was tender and the flavor was okay and that’s where they earned the two stars in this review. No biscuit or cornbread was provided which most BBQ places throw in for free. No napkins, fork or anything else provided.
In addition when I walked in the guy working the counter was on the phone taking an order. He did not acknowledge me at all and I was only there for a pick up. The other gentleman standing with him told me the guy on the phone would be with me in one moment but did nothing to help me himself. I don’t feel that customers on the premises should have to wait for a call for a delivery. If anything they should have placed the caller on hold. In any case a guy from the kitchen poked his head out and asked if I was there for a pickup and came over to bring my food. If it weren’t for him I’d probably still be standing there.
I also want to mention EAT24 in this review since I used it to place my order. The act of placing the actual order went smoothly and I don’t want this review to reflect poorly on them at all because they were nothing but helpful. I had initially scheduled my order for a later time and realized I was getting off from work much earlier so I used their online chat to have the time of my order changed. The support staff (Roman) was very polite and accommodating. I look forward to using EAT24 again this time hopefully at a better restaurant.
