This was the first time I worked with Petrolwerks and Moe I have to say, It’s was a pleasure dealing with Moe and his team. He is very personable and down to earth guy and will always keep you in the loop with whatever size project you have going on. He even called me one night at 11pm when he was leaving the shop just to give me an update which I appreciated. They did great quality work and I am very happy on how my headers, full exhaust, gauges, clutch and transmission swap came out. I would highly recommend them for all of your automotive needs.

Look, nowadays mechanics CANNOT be trusted. But when i tell you this company here is gold, i mean it. The entire staff is very down to earth, easy to talk to and patient with any questions. They are informative, young and passionate about what they do. Over the years they have come a long, far way. If you own anything ($ 500 Honda to a $ 500,000 Mclaren) bring it here. Reasonable pricing, caring, non-​stress environment and people. I don’t need to mention Mo because as you can tell from the other reviews, he’s a fantastic guy. Never have been to an auto shop where the owner is as nice as him. Dude called me at 930pm to ask how my car was doing and to apologize for any wait time. I will not be going anywhere else for any minor/​major repairs or jobs.

Moe is fantastic. I was nervous handing my car over to his team to do a custom exhaust modification but he was patient with me, answered all my questions, and even gave me a tour as well as show me what was done to the car through out the process. Above & Beyond. I;m excited to go back and have some body work done soon!

I have been a customer of PetrolWerks now for over a year, and I have to say I use them exclusively they are well worth the 20 mile trip. Moe and his crew are a great bunch of guys and everyone know’s what they are doing. they have done everything from a full blown 2JZ swap into my Datsun to an inspection, and everything in-​between. they also can do full blown builds from ground up. Usually they have something exotic in the shop they’re working on top notch work on EVERYTHING they touch. THREE THUMBS UP & 10 STARS

I called a couple places for a vehicle inspection for my car and petrolworks took me in right away. Since I work it’s hard for me to leave my car at a shop all day. These guys took me in right away and in a hour I was back on the road! Highly recommended!

Used them to perform New York State Inspection which was 5 months overdue, yeah, I know, it was a miracle I had not been pulled over and got a ticket… Anyways, the customer service was awesome, waiting area — nice and clean with a TV and extremely comfortable leather sofa and the inspection took only 12 minutes and cost $ 37! Loved it! No hassle, no one tried to sell me stuff I did not need or talk me into buying extras. Very professional!

Bought a Nissan 370z a year ago and was looking for a performance shop. Came across them on Unilocal and have been coming here ever since. I’ve had my test pipes installed, spark plugs and yearly inspections done here. Everything went smootly. Moe is the guy you should look for with any mechanical issues and the prices are fair. You won’t regret it.

Great shop. I haven’t come here for any official work on my car, but I did come for an inspection. Service was fast and friendly. I have had issues in the past of bringing my car for an inspection elsewhere where they have told me that my car wouldn’t pass inspection unless I had the doppleganger changed which, as you know, is connected to the ackamarackus for the mere sum of $ 2,000.
I appreciate this shop’s honesty and integrity. Thanks for taking good car of Edgar (my car) during his inspection. If my car needed work, I know that I could trust this shop.

Moe delivered as promised. Went there for custom exhaust work and left with a big grin all the way back to Brooklyn. The process was no rush and they made sure to cut my bumper as accurately as possible I even got a state inspection on my second visit to get a better bracket to hold up my exhaust setup great job … Def recommending you 2 my friends

Petrolwerks is awesome.
I have been coming here for the longest time, and it has always been a true gear head’s dream. They always have the most complicated cars in there, and if you own a complicated car, you would want to bring it somewhere where they know what they’re doing.
I bring my BMW in for regular maintenance, I’m out of warranty so the dealer isn’t an option; between the dealer and here, I probably cut my costs down by around 50% or more depending on the job. From simple things like oil changes to the complicated engine swaps they are the people you want to go to. Moe is great, he is a funny guy but takes things seriously and will get the job done. He will listen to everything you have to say, and will catch things you never thought of, and will check EVERYTHING if it is of concern. They do everything as well, its hard to find a very good performance oriented one stop shop.
You won’t be disappointed here! A true car guy’s haven.

Moe has been there for me and is my go-​to guy for the last 5 years. He’s extremely friendly and honest. He’ll walk you through and show you what the problem is with your car and give you available options on how you want to handle the matter. Most of all, I trust him. It didn’t take long for me to see him as a friend first, and mechanic second. The shop is a 32 mile drive out from where I live, but I have no issue driving there. I’ve referred at least a dozen of my friends. Every year the shop gets bigger and better.

Great automotive shop that will service your needs from custom fabrications, to body work or something as simple as a inspection. I’ve only used them for fender rolling and I couldn’t be happier. I’ll be going back tomorrow for some body work and other miscellanous work. I’ll update my review when I get the car back.
