Our chauffeurs all have passed criminal background checks, possess CDL licenses, have all been initially and randomly drug screened and have updated driver qualification files. Our company has passed a USDOT (United States Department of Transportation) compliance review and received a Satisfactory grade. The process was a two day intensive and intrusive review of all documents including but not limited to drug screening, insurance thresholds, vehicle maintenance and inspection, expense and payroll reports, driver qualification files and company financials. We are proud to have been found in compliance and look forward to any regulatory audits.

This is the worst bus company ever. Me and 40 other students used this for after junior prom it took us an hour more than it should of to get the the city and the bus broke down. It turned back on but the AC did not everyone was sweating about to pass out and there was a chaperone on the bus. which we did not even know there was suppose to be one. according to this lady she was the wife of the driver. she faked an asthma attack so that we can get off the bus. we ended up getting off a couple blocks away from the karaōke bar even though we had no idea where we were going. The bus left and gave a kid a number so that we can contact them. the whole time everyone was paranoid so the guy texted us an address of where he was so we had to walk another few blocks at 3 in the morning for the driver and the manger to tell us the bus is broken down and they made us all take Ubers and taxis home. that money came out of our pocket too. they promised half of our money back and they did not do that. I do not recommend this bus company at all.

Tru Limo took 32 kids after the Junior prom to the after party. An 11 pm– 3am shift. The driver, Kira, was great. On time and admittedly had to put up with a bigger mess than they should. I will backtrack and say dealing with Kevin was easy and the price was right.
The party bus was spectacular. To add to it, my only complaint (and compliment) was a 9:00am phone call (I chaperoned) that a kid left his wallet on the bus with $$and credit cards. Great job!

Tru Limo was extremely professional and easy to work with from the beginning of the quote process until the end of our night out. Booking was transparent. Their all inclusive prices made for no hidden fees or surprises. Kevin and the customer service team were very quick and responsive when answering my questions.
Matthew was an extremely professional, well tailored, accommodating driver. He arrived a half hour early for our trip, walked us through how to work the music and lighting on the bus, was always right out front of the bar during our bar hopping excursion throughout the course of the night.
The bus was very clean, updated and very impressive looking on the inside.
I would without a doubt use this company again. Good customer service, reliability, and personable staff go a long way.

If you’re looking for a limousine this is not the place. I use them for an event and they were less than subpar. After I left a review on another site they proceeded to call me a bunch of times, threaten me, and actually post personal information online. Which by the way I fully expect them to do now that I’m writing this review too! They actually move their location on the map several times on various review sites to make sure that people don’t know about other reviews people have left. And at this point I really don’t care if they shared my old personal information because none of it is current. I even got a cease and desist letter for sharing my honest opinion of this company. Well honestly, there is nothing honest about this company. If you’re in the market for a vomit covered limo bus with a not working sound system and a thief for a driver by all means book them! I will mention that my event was several years ago so perhaps they have changed since then. But the other reviews suggest that they haven’t and the lack of reviews suggest that they have also buried other pages full of negative reviews. My advice would be stop burying reviews and actually change your practices. If you don’t care about any of this they have very good prices. You get what you pay for.

WORST LIMOUSINE COMPANY EVER!!! Our driver arrived 1.5 hours late for our bachelorett evening. After a long and reckless ride to a venue in NYC our driver dropped us off at the door. Before he pulled off we exchanged phone numbers to ensure constant contact. Nearing the end of the event, we called the driver to confirm that he was on his way to pick us up… the driver never answered. After continuously calling for 40mins we called Tru Limousine to locate our driver and needless to say, no one answered. We were never able to get anyone on the phone to help. After 2hours of waiting on a curb our driver arrived appearing disheveled. He told us that he had fallen asleep while waiting for his phone to charge. We instructed him to call the owner of the company. After multiple calls we were able to get the owner on the phone. He told us that he was displeased with us calling him at such a late hour waking him from his sleep. He then instructed us to pay the $ 309 balance to the driver or find our own way home. So we found an alternate way home. The owner was very rude and unhelpful. WOULD NEVER USE AGAIN! Book at your own risk.

Used Tru Limo for my sister’s bachelorette, horrible, horrible choice! For one, it was discussed we could have 11 girls in the limo. When the driver arrived, he refused to let us all in and said we had to call the Manager (Kevin). Verbally, he said 11 was fine but of course, on the contract it said 10 passengers. Driver was late about 20 minutes for our pick up. After our drop off for dinner, we phoned the driver multiple times to pick us up. After about 40 minutes of trying to get in touch with him — we ended up walking through Times Square to get to our destination. The Driver said he was outside the restaurant the entire time and he wasn’t. Had the nerve to charge $ 102 for overtime when we WALKED to our destination. Called the company to complain and got nowhere with it. To boot – the limo was terrible. The controls for the audio/​visual weren’t working. Will be filing a complaint with the NJ BBB on this establishment.

Used TruLimo for a 30th bday and it was a great night. 28 people, most of them above-​average sized men, fit comfortably in the 32-​person bus. They let me set up the bus beforehand. The driver, Victor, was friendly and professional. Accommodating when we had to make a spontaneous stop. The bus was clean and new. Really nice office staff that answered my many questions patiently. Will definitely use them again.

This company sent me a party bus for «21» passengers. I had 21 normal sized kids and adults combined. 19 crammed into the seats. I had to bring an extra 2 stools for the other 2 people. I complained because they misrepresented the vehicle’s capacity. They showed me the vehicle registration that says 21 passengers. One of my party was supposed to sit withe the driver up front! Then the owner charges me an extra 40 minutes at the end of our 12 hr $ 2,000.00 rental. There are so many other limo companies– Don’t use a guy that does business this way.

I’ve used Tru Limo twice now for bachelor parties and I’d recommend them to everyone and anyone. I used them first for my brother’s bachelor party last summer and rented a Party Bus for about 30 people and then again this past weekend when we got a Stretch Hummer for about 14 people for another friend’s bachelor party. Both times they’ve been a pleasure to work with. They staff in the office are very nice and easy to talk to as well as being full of information. They make sure to call you earlier the day of to confirm times and addresses and make sure everything is all set. The drivers always showed up early and were incredibly nice and went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed the whole night. The two vehicles we used were great. The interiors were very nicely done and very comfortable. They provided glasses for drinking, buckets of ice and bottles of cold water. I did a lot of shopping around and have to say their rates were very competitive and very reasonable. All in all they were great and I definitely plan on using them again when the opportunities arises.
