History
Established in 1985.
Time & Again Antiques was conceived by Gloria Zimmerman and Daryl Mal in Brooklyn, New York in March of 1985. Jeff Zimmerman took over the business in 1989, moving the operation to Coney Island Avenue in Brooklyn, then the heart of the exploding antiques district and converted the boutique into a wholesale/retail outlet selling fine art and furniture to antiques dealers around the world. Jeff’s antiques business acumen was acquired from the bottom-up working for some of the most successful dealers. In 1996, he expanded the business, moving it to Linden, New Jersey, and Time & Again Auction Galleries was born.
Time & Again Galleries features 2 sales per month offering over 1200 lots. Our auction is held live at the gallery and online. Our online exposure has helped Time & Again Galleries captivate thousands of loyal online clients that purchase over and over again. Our strong online presence has greatly increased competitive bidding at our sales. We’re definitely doing something right!
Meet the Business Owner
Jeff Z.
Business Owner
Jeff has been involved with the antique business since he first started working the Englishtown Flea Market at 13. After over forty years of working the market, he will tell you that it’s been quite a ride. He has helped run countless antique shows at an array of venues from Madison Square Garden to flea markets and shopping malls. With a dual degree in History and English, he couldn’t be better prepared for the antique field. He got to work closely with all the old-timers in New York City working for Ronald F. Tyler Galleries. Honing his skills to buy property in auctions, flea markets, house sales, tag sales, from other dealers and lots of house calls, Jeff quickly became «a novice in everything and an expert in nothing.» He had much experience under his belt before signing on with Time and Again Antiques. Since the change of ownership back in 1989, the company has continued to thrive and grow in the ever-changing antiques industry.
