This place has such an eclectic menu that I was overwhelmed at first. My choices were a gyro, pizza, salad, burger, chicken strips, fried chicken, fried fish, ice cream, pies and so much more. Their fried chicken is SO good! It was lightly crusted, perfectly fried and nicely seasoned. The pizza was oozing with cheese and bubbling right out of the oven. I can’t believe how good it was.

I dunno what the previous reviews are all about but letz me tell you: this place it’s pretty legit! It has that big Brooklyn style pizza. Their chicken and wings are pretty legit. I’m comparing to places near here, nothing fancy, and every time I’ve come here there’s always a separate guy cashier who doesn’t touch the food. The pizza it’s better than dominos but nothing special. They have great sales, they don’t deliver but you can order ahead of time. They have a shelf full of sides like slaw, pasta, mash and other items. Definitely recommend.

This joint is okay for a night run. Not sure about their other foods, but the pizza here is great! Honestly, it’s between this joint and Kennedy Fried Chicken in Roselle NJ for the best night eatery shack. Although the pizza here is better than Kennedy’s, Kennedy’s is way cheaper. Staff here is decent as well.

Props to them delivering to me in the snow. But the pizza was disgusting… Would not recommend the NY chicken wing pizza, literally just chicken wings on pizza with no buffalo sauce and plenty of bones. Gross.

Had food there once in 2009 late night and took to go which as good… Stopped in there in July after a Bön Jovi concert to buy soda which was freaky… Customers were in there waiting for their orders and one of them was actually sitting on the counter…

This is my favorite chicken shack and I frequent many. Their chicken is tasty(for a chicken shack) the staff is friendly, it’s pretty clean. The pizza is decent. The ice cream is my favorite. They are open until very late at night. It’s my favorite chicken shack with tastiest food and excellent prices.

Honestly, this is a much better option than any late night fast food place. The fried chicken is good and so is the rice. I’m pretty sure there’s a little saffron in that bad boy and it’s savory as all heck. I crushed that rice. And not because I was inebriated or anything of the sort. It was just plain good. There’s plenty of parking, it’s fairly clean, and the prices are fair at New York Fried Chicken & Pizza. Don’t venture into the burger zone, I’m sure the patties aren’t LaFrieda, and don’t mess with the fish, unless you like eating fish that eat their own poop and the poop of other fish. Stick with the chicken and the rice. And look both ways before backing out of your parking space. There’s a risk factor…
