At Family Eyecare we take pride in addressing our patients’ needs. We specialize in full eye exams, contact lens exams, glasses, emergency eye care, contact lenses.

We believe in power of preventive care and recommend every child to get an eye exam prior to starting school, and continue with annual eye exams from then on. Adults with medical conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, lupus, anemia and many more should examine their eyes on annual basis to prevent visual consequences of these medical conditions.

Individuals with family history of glaucoma and macular degeneration should be taking extra care and get routine eye exams for early detection of these conditions.

History

Established in 2013.

Dr Moyshelis opened her practice in September 2013. At Family Eye Care, Dr. Moyshelis offers comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fittings, management of most cases of red eye, glaucoma screening exams, and foreign body removals. She also helps patients enhance their style with a wide variety of designer eyewear.

Business Owner

Dr. Elaina Moyshelis is a licensed Optometrist. She graduated from SUNY College of Optometry in 2007, completed a residency program specializing in Primary Care and Ocular Disease in 2008, and has been in private practice ever since.
