K Cleaners

I brought my work clothes here to be dry cleaned after more than one bad experience at CD one price. I was pleasantly surprised that the prices were better than what I had experienced so initially I was happy. However, when I brought my clothes home, I noticed 1 shirt that wasn’t mine, and 1 shirt missing. When I brought back the shirt that wasn’t mine, they said they did not have my shirt, but if they find it they will give me a call. I ended up calling them to see if they found it, and they hadn’t. I will never go back there again. What good is good service and good prices if they are going to lose your clothes?

I dropped off a handmade messenger bag that needed to be cleaned since I’ve been using it like crazy. I wanted to take it with me to Germany to use as laptop bag since it’s lightweight. I asked for a quick turnaround and was charged appropriately.
I picked up the bag before leaving for the airport within the promised time period. The problem is that the inside of the bag was not cleaned. There were pen marks and when I pointed them out, she seemed surprised that they were there and then brushed it off as being impossible to remove pen.
I take half the blame since I didn’t point the marks out before I dropped off the bag. Had I made the observation from the beginning, I would of had a different review.

I have been going to K Cleaners for years because it is so close to home and very accessible on Lincoln Ave. They have a fast turn-​around, are very nice/​polite, and their prices are very good. Aside from that, they are also very organized and do a great job of dry cleaning, pressing, and doing alterations. Best dry cleaning service in north Chicago /​suburbs!
