We offer a range of services including new hardwood floors, prefinished, engineered and laminated floors installation, floor sanding, refinishing, staining, buffing, lacquering and stair renovation.

We can also offer a unique individual floorboard repair service. Our aim is to give you fantastic looking hardwood floors whatever your requirements.

Emc Floors Inc. will also advise customers on the many types of flooring available such as red oak, white oak, maple, pine, ash, walnut, beech, exotic hardwood, and Brazilian hardwood.

Emc Floors is a flooring service company dedicated to the people of Chicago land and surroundings providing a variety of solutions for residential and commercial.

The company was founded in 2003 by Emanuel Tibu. With a vast experience on flooring, construction and remodeling industry, our goal is to deliver high quality services and complete satisfaction to our customers.

I recently purchased a «fixer-​upper» 2-​flat in Lincoln Square and Emanuel did an amazing job with refinishing the floors on both levels. He was highly responsive and flexible with scheduling. When I noted that finish had dried in an odd way, he gladly fixed the issue and the floors look perfect. I am thrilled and the floors look amazing!

Emanuel has been working with my family for a long time and will continue to. I was beyond pleased with the work he just did with the floors in my new space. If you came inside, you would absolutely love the new floors. The color of the floor matched what I have in my other two rooms as well. Not only is Emanuel a great person to know, he does the work with the highest level of professionalism one could ask for. It’s actually more than just hard work when it comes to working with Emanuel, it’s talent. I’m actually not exaggerating. The work was done quickly as well. No one else can do it better and there is absolutely nothing more you could ask for. If you are 1) reading this 2) looking for new floors, you are out of your mind if you look elsewhere. Thank you Emanuel and the company of EMC Floors!

Sadly, I have to downgrade this review to one star. The doors are installed but, Emanuel was supposed to pay the door company Silvestri Facilities Management, for replacement of our doors that he damaged. I really believed he was going to do so. He gave them the initial deposit but then he bounced the second check on them and thus far has refused to make good on that check. He just keeps making promises but never shows up with the cash or a cashiers check. This is no way to do business. Silvestri has to pay their bills too and they worked with him to begin with not to pay for the dooors all at one time. I can’t make Emanuel do the right thing. I can only let other people know that effectively if he messes something up he is going to become the promise factory with those promises being left unfulfilled.

We just got our floors done by EMC floors and could not be happier with the result and the entire process. Detail-​oriented and great customer service. We had them refinish existing hardwood floors and replace ceramic tile in the kitchen with new hardwood. Another contractor came out and told us it wasn’t possible to redo the kitchen floors because the ceramic tile went under the cabinets and he would have to remove the cabinets and countertops (which would likely damage them so we might as well get a whole new kitchen). EMC did the job without removing the cabinets and it looks the the wood floor goes under the cabinets!
They did the job while were out of town. Moved all our furniture upstairs and then back in its place after the job was done. I wish all contractors were this good!

Emmanuel knows very well how to get you the best floor and his professionalism will enchant you. Emmanuel and his team did partially new floor in my house in 20 111 and I hired him again to extend a closet involving moving doors and adding oark floor. The jobs were done until right. Emmanuel put his heart to work and relentlessly until it matched prefectly. I have to say I was very pleased with the results and can only refer him as the best carpenter ever!
