Dr Pence is the 1st dentist in the Carolinas to be awarded the Lifetime Learning and Service award by the Academy of General Dentistry. A graduate of Vanderbilt University and from the University of NC School of Dentisty, Dr Pence is also a faculty member of the L D Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education
