Riverside Foundation is a not-​for-​profit, community-​based organization. We serve adults with moderate to severe intellectual and developmental disabilities through the provision of high-​quality residential care and individualized developmental training programs.

Since our founding in 1976, Riverside Foundation has provided a home and support to over 400 adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities at our residential facility in Lincolnshire, Illinois. Through the Riverside Foundation Work and Activity Center in Vernon Hills, Illinois, we have provided opportunities for our residents and other adults with developmental disabilities to gain skills and assume responsibilities for real-​life work.

History

Established in 1976.

Riverside Foundation has a long tradition of providing quality care to our residents, distinguishing ourselves as community and industry leaders, and providing meaningful employment opportunities for individuals who are dedicated to the profession of caring.
