History

Established in 2006.

Serenity Salon & Day Spa was established on July 6, 2006 by Tausha and Cory Ostrander. Where inner beauty meets outer beauty was a quote by Tausha that flamed the inspiration to open a salon where beauty professionals could work giving them the ability to transform their clients allowing them to leave the salon feeling as beautiful on the outside as they truly where on the inside.

Jill is the best!
I have moved to Texas but get it cut by her everytime I visit Nebraska. We went to Wisconsin and strangers were stopping me at the mall asking where I got my haircut… sorry, two states away… then I got home to Texas and my neighbor said how great it looked, where did I get it cut… sorry, 4 states away… then this morning at McDonald’s someone told me how great my cut was.
Jill is one of only 2 people I have found who can cut my hair, I have a short haircut, and it lasts for 7 – 8 weeks and still gets me compliments! Thankfully the other one is here in Texas so I can get more than one good haircut a year!

Amazing! I have very long hair and it’s been very hard for me to trust anyone after my mother (who is also a hair stylist) moved away. Today I went to see Tammy at Serenity and she is PERFECT! I will be going to her for years to come! She’s nice and fun and knows what the heck she is doing! She made my lifeless long hair have movement and it feels amazing and I cannot rave enough! So happy!

I was back home in Lincoln and asked around where I should go to get a quality cut. I landed at Serenity because it’s close to my home and decently priced. I would recommend getting an appointment, because when I walked-​in, I had to come back later they were so busy!
I go to Lisa W, who, my first time there, spent just over an hour with me looking through hair books and taking different styles to figure out my own cut. I had never had this much attention paid to me in a hair stylist appointment and will definitely be returning on each visit home to Lincoln!
