Serendipities Cupcakes World Headquarter opened at 27^th & Superior in Lincoln, NE. After 3 years and an opportunity to showcase how co-​branding and franchising would work, we moved to 3939 North 48^th and created LuLu’s Lunchery featuring Serendipities Cupcakes.

Business Owner

With over 25 years of franchise experience, Terrie Urtel, a Navy veteran, started a brand of her own. Dipites LLC consists of 3 concepts. Serendipities Cupcakes as a stand alone cupcake brand has offered wholesale, mobile and retail products since 2011. The next two concepts began in year 4 with a relocation of Serendipities and the creation of LuLu’s Lunchery, currently in it’s test phase. In addition to this co-​branding prototype, an opportunity to create and test a gluten free version of Serendipities presented itself. The original location has been sold, but the operations manual will be used in conjunction with Serendipities Cupcakes brand.
