Specialties
We specialize in award winning competition type Kansas City style BBQ. Burnt Ends and Ribs are always popular with brisket and pork close behind. Most of our sides are award winning as well, sides such as baked beans, sweet cornbread, cheesy potatoes and the ever popular potato salad. We do a get amount of catering for so many different events and other sides and meats are available thru catering.
History
Established in 2008.
This is a family owned and operated business. Originally, Phat Jacks was a competition BBQ team living in KC, due to economic reasons Matt and Jackie decided to move back to Lincoln and with the help of Matt’s parents Phat Jacks the «restaurant» was born. With 4 of us bringing a different skill or talent to the table the restaurant begin to outgrow it’s original location at 40th and Cornhusker. Phat Jacks is now at 11th and Cornhusker where it continues to grow.
