History

Established in 2013.

Modern Country Concepts was created in Lincoln, NE to bring unique custom made furniture to the area with exceptional quality. Anybody can go to the big box store and purchase table/​furniture, but at Modern Country you get something more. A piece that is handcrafted from solid wood, built to last for generations; furniture with a story.

The owner, Matt, came from the Chicagoland area where he used to work for a very respected custom furniture company as their foreman. Matt left the area to plant his roots back in Nebraskan soil, a University of Nebraska alum.

I was tired of watching people spend their money of cheaply made furniture that will just end up falling apart and land in the trash. I took my expertise and created Modern Country Concepts, quality furniture that will be passed down to your grandkids. Furniture that is the center of your room not just an accent piece within it.
