George’s Friendly Auto Service

I love Georges! They are so great and knowledgeable. I’ve taken my car to multiple shops in the past and Georges is definitely the best (especially on price!) I drive the extra few miles just so I know I’ll get good service– the shop guy even knows me by name!

Absolutely Horrible vindictive human beings. My 20 year old son and his girlfriend took her truck there because it had an issue. Georges couldn’t diagnose the exact problem but wanted to start with spark plugs for $ 250, we had replaced the one in cylinder 2 already because that’s what the code read-​misfire cylinder 2. So we decided $ 250 for 5 plugs that cost us $ 23 was a bit high– we can do them.
So my son called them back and said we will just come get the vehicle and he had his girlfriend call them per their request, no problem. We went to the «friendly“auto guys and they didn’t say much, no attitude picked up the truck and we left. I guess Rush got his feelings hurt so he decided to call my sons boss at his job and tell her that my boy was yelling and throwing things in his shop and that he is not to set foot on the property again, we got the same lie from a friend that works at Georges sweeping floors but wasn’t at work at the time. My son works for a car rental company and deals with Georges on occasion, so he figured it would hurt him. Funny Rush, first off nobody believes that my boy would do that good try-​second no need to ban us from your shop, consider it a given.
What kind of people or adult would be this childish and fabricate such a story?
My son replaced the injector in #2 and the truck is fine.

Absolutely amazing customer service by Rush and al the guys! I was able to drop my car off and they called my that afternoon to tell me the part was arriving and it would be done the next morning. They are so friendly and I would recommend them to anyone!

Honest service! We are new to the area and we had a fuel leak. After picking up our car they called within hours to share the bad news. But, they pointed out my car was covered under a manufacture recall and helped me get the car to the dealer for service. They very well could have charged me for the repair because we didn’t live in the country the year the recall posted and knew no better. I have had my oil changed here since and they are always friendly and honest. Need more auto shops like this.

Had multiple good experiences here after getting disappointed by a few highly rated places in Roseville. Brother-​in-​law has had his old clunker worked on a few times for cheap here, so that’s where I heard of George’s place. When the AC in my honda starting blowing warm air, I called these guys up. They had me in right away and recharged my air conditioner in about an hour. Cost me $ 70. They have a small and quiet waiting room with wifi right next to the shop too.

Friendly… YES. Honest and fair… NO! If you want friendly and a smile while getting taken advantage of, this is the place for you!!!

Very friendly, professional, and efficient. Had it checked out and got the problem addressed and they allowed me to come back in the next week with everything ready to go and were done way ahead of time which as awesome. They will be my new go to shop

I am SOOOO disapointed in this place. My wife and 3 yr. old daugter on the way home from Sparks, NV. to Chico, CA got to Lincoln just in time to overheat. Found Georges. I looked them up, they seemed like nice caring people. It was 3:30−4 Friday afternoon. She got there and was told they were «too busy».
Now, I DO understand workloads, and perhaps being a Friday didnt help, but c’mon people, have some flippin COMPASSION!!! All she wanted to know was if it minor or major which might have taken 5 min. What a lousy way to strand a mom and her baby girl!
Well, thank goodness we have AAA & we’ll have them tow the car to Chico to our own mechanic, (who by the way was willing to stick around for it to arrive — and they are one of the top 3/​high volume shops in Chico).
I hope their loved one and baby never get stranded somewhere & get treated with such indifference. Or… maybe they would learn from the experience. Who’s to say.

We usually take our autos here for most repairs. They seem to be honest and will give us various options after a diagnosis. I’ve never had to take my vehicle back to them after a repair, they get it done right which is why we go back. They work well with insurance companies too.

Have been going to George for several years for both of our vehicles and have always found them to be honest and helpful. They do what they say they will do in the estimated timeframe. They don’t oversell you and in fact, have talked us in to waiting for repairs until the next time. I trust them.
