Sew & Sews Place carries Designer, Dressmaker and Heirloom fabrics, notions, patterns and trims. We work very hard at finding the best prices so we can pass them on to you our faithful customers.

Sadly, due to extreme family loss we have decided to take our shop on-​line and close up the day-​to-​day operations of the brick and mortar shop for a year or so. Hang in there with us while we make this transition.

History

Established in 2006.

Sew & Sews Place, LLC, was opened in June 2010, by a woman who deeply loves fabric. Namely me-​Molly. I got frustrated at not being able to find fabrics that I wanted to spend my time, energy and money on. I have been sewing since I was six, mostly for myself. I have quilted and made home décor, but my true love is clothing. Now I have an on-​line shop full of dressmaker, designer, and heirloom fabrics that I enjoy spending my time, energy and money on, and I hope you will too.

All of these fabrics are hand-​picked by me. The prices are very reasonable. I’m an avid shopper, and I look at it as a challenge to find the best prices for both of us.

Fabrics are listed on our web page and updated and changed out regularly. Once they are gone, they are gone. No back orders-​so get it when you see it.

Business Owner

I learned to sew from my grandmother at 6 years old. My mom couldn’t sew but had a sewing machine in the house and I took it over at 12. I sewed all my dresses from there on out. Graduation, prom, pregnancy, layettes, baby clothes, back-​to-​work, you name it.

I am a North Carolina native, but Army life took us all over, and I took my sewing machine. Even when I was a single soldier-​my Kenmore went with me to Germany. Now 31 years later its called old faithful and I have about 13 machines total (I think).

I love to sew, and I love to share. Whether its my latest fabric find, notion, or technique. Please stop by and check out my site, it changes as much as my hairstyles!
