Patterson Furniture

Patterson Furniture is definitely a high-​end furniture store specializing in Stickley and other brands of mission-​style furniture. It is not cheap but the quality is superb. I recently bought ten pieces of bedroom furniture made by SimplyAmish (you can check out their online catalog at
). It’s all quarter-​sawn, solid oak with a gorgeous finish. Give any drawer a slight push and it glides in until it’s about one-​inch from being fully closed and it then slows down and glides home. Style is great. Because each piece is hand-​made by Amish craftsmen in America, I was told it would take twelve weeks to arrive. It took ten. Patterson’s delivery people spent almost ninety minutes getting everything set up. They did a great job and were very careful. Nothing was damaged despite the fact that they had to maneuver up stairs and around corners with furniture that is too heavy for me to move! Although I could have bought a small car for what I paid, my guess is that the furniture will continue to look great long after I’m gone.
