Thiam graduated in Computer Science at Oxford and worked in the industry for over 20 years. Her interest grew in the medical field while working with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee.

In 2003, she started working in a medical field in Boca Raton, Florida as a Massage Therapist and a Chiropractic Assistant, after she passed her Massage Board. She has been in the health-​care professional for several years now and has worked for several chiropractors and spas in the Boca and Deerfield area.

She help positions as the President, Public Relations Chair of Florida State Massage Therapy Association of Broward Chapter. She is also a Professional Diving and CPR/​AED Instructor. She holds an award as Quality Ambassador of the month for Spa Palazzo, Boca Resort and Outstanding Sport Team Member.
