The Batterz Box is a large retail store, including 6 batting cages. The batting cages allow you test our baseball & fastpitch softball equipment for the perfect fit before you make a purchase.

Our professional staff is made up of current or former players and coaches from high school, college and the professional level. Expert guidance will be provided to help you select the right equipment and the perfect fit.

History

Established in 2011.

The Batterz Box was founded in 2011 by Mike Dutler. Dutler, a lover of baseball and parent of two youth baseball athletes, when he realized there wasn’t a retailer in the area dedicated to helping athletes find the perfect equipment. In his experience, many players and parents were on their own to select bats and equipment from large sporting goods shops-​spending a significant amount of money with no assurance of having the right bat or other equipment. That’s when the idea hit him-​create a specialty sporting goods store catering specifically to baseball and fastpitch softball-​serve customers with highly knowledgeable sales staff and allow them to physically test out the equipment before making a purchase. Testing the equipment for best fit and greatest success doesn’t just mean a few swings, it means winding up in one of our on-​site indoor batting cages at no charge and connecting with the ball until you’ve found the bat that gives you the most success.
