The Paddock Inn

This lovely little inn is presided over by an incredibly kind, charming and generous hostess, Belinda. We truly enjoyed chatting with her, hearing about her travels and learning about the Lexington/​Mansfield area. Further, we have been staying in B&B’s for a quarter of a century and have never stayed in a room as grand (yet cozy) as the Carousel Room. It is impeccably appointed, possesses all of the creature comforts you would expect from a 4 star hotel, and is immaculately clean.
Unexpected bonuses were the beautiful views of the heart-​shaped pond; the opportunity to feed snacks to the friendly horses (especially the elegant Mesquite and the adorable mini-​horse Muffin Man); the antics of a clutch of kittens who scamper around the horse barn; and the sweet delights left out for our enjoyment.
So enthralled are we that we have stayed at the Paddock Inn for two consecutive years, and we are counting the days until our next visit. Do not miss this little slice of heaven in the country, which is conveniently located less than two miles from the Mid-​Ohio Sports Car Course.
