I went in today for lunch buffet and found a bug crawl out from under the chicken I was eating. When I showed the manager, all she did was take the plate away and say sorry. When I asked for a refund she told me that they could not do it because the bug came from the butter packet and not from the food! Yuck! All I know is that it was on the plate and crawling in the food that I was putting in my mouth. That’s when I noticed that they only got an 87% on a follow up health inspection.

The sushi was really good and the so was the buffet. The wish was really the only problem for me. It was really tough and had sat out for way to long. but the service was great.

This place is awesome. It has a large comfortable dining area. Lots of items to choose from. I had egg drop soup and my husband had the hot and sour soup. He said it was SPICY! I tried to get a little of everything but my plate wasn’t big enough. Everything was delish! Found a new chinese resturant to eat at. All the employees were so friendly. We will go back. Highly recommend.

There is a lot of cool things about this place – it is HUGE and there is immense variety of items from which to choose. It has some items you’ll rarely find at any buffet – like chicken feet, pigs feet, and many other things I could not name and your picky cousin would not touch. There is a huge selection – Chinese, Mexican, Hibachi, Sushi, and American. There is a massive amount of sushi. THERE’S ALSO A CHOCOLATEFOUNTAIN! Soo…why am I giving it only two stars? The quantity does not match the quality. I don’t expect much from buffets – the food is left to cook and dry out in water trays and under heat lights. I get it– and unfortunately it’s what most of the food tasted like. A lot of my food was hard and crunchy when it was supposed to be softer. I’ve been to other buffets in town where there is less variety but the food tasted much better. In the end, it’s a pretty cheap buffet. If you’re in the mood for that, go for it.

I gave this 4 stars, mainly because for the money it was not bad! For a lunch buffet $ 7.29 ! So it’s not first class food, but what would you expect. It was clean, food looked fresh and well presented, and I didn’t get sick !! Staff were really nice. I’d definitely recommend it. I’d probably go again. Though I always eat to much at buffets which is why I try and stay away.

I stopped by for a quick bite while it rained cats and dogs. I had the stir fried veggies(tender yet crisp) and the hibachi chicken(so tender you don’t need a knife) plus a drink for 4.15. It really doesn’t get much better then that! As an excerize rider we have to watch our wallets as much as our weight lol! I love the fact I can get just a scoop or ad many as I want. Weekends are our cheat days.

I won’t say it was the most amazing pre-made food you’ll ever eat but it’s pretty good. I didn’t try the hibachi grill portion but they’re generally as good as you make them, I tend to forget they’re an option. The service was fantastic! Extremely attentive and friendly. The décor was interesting comparatively and there are a multitude of seating areas. I would recommend.

Golden Corral is just up the road. Go there instead. I’m not a fan of this place. The food was… ehhh. I can’t say it was horrible, but I have nothing positive to say, really. The Chinese food was in line with most Chinese buffets. The American food wasn’t good at all. The macaroni was flavorless. The rolls were hard. The chicken wings were bad. Just bad. There were ribs featured at the buffet the last time I went. I didn’t expect them to be perfect, but they were dry and tough. Like I said… Golden Corral is just up the road. It’s about the same price and the food is better. And there’s plenty of other Chinese buffets in town.

I wanted to like this place, and it has a lot going for it, but something toward the end of my visit killed the rating. You see, it has some great things. It has a real bona-fide sushi buffet, not just some cheap rolls, they had actual shrimp, tuna and salmon sushi on the buffet too. They also had more than just the usual Chinese-American buffet foods, if you knew where to look there were some more distinctly authentic dishes in some of the steam pots off to the side. Steamed pork buns and some dishes I couldn’t begin to identify.(Of course, they also had the questionable buffet pizza and meatloaf you should probably avoid). I was genuinely impressed at the variety of food they offered. The place itself is huge inside, practically cavernous(long ago it was a furniture store before it was a buffet, so they’ve got lots and lots of spare room). The killer came near the end. When I entered the restaurant I was politely lead to a table and a server took my drink order and I went to the buffet, like a normal eatery. I watched an African-American couple walk in to the place, seat themselves(there was no hostess there to seat anyone at the time) and then barked at that they would have to pre-pay for their meal. Indignant at the insult, the two diners got up and stormed out. Nobody asked me to pre-pay, and when I was done eating they brought a check to my table. So me, a white guy, was allowed to pay after eating, but a black couple was being made to pre-pay? Racism like that just dropped the rating to 1 star, despite the good things about this place.

This place used to be great but it’s not the quality or selection it used to be. They all change it seems based on what the others do. This place changed the scene when it opened but has fallen behind IMO.

This buffet is AWFUL. I love buffets, and I won’t eat here ever again. I tried it about a year ago, and found it to be disgusting. The food did not seem fresh to me. Even the desserts were inedible. Number One china buffet out by the mall is a good buffet if that’s what you’re looking for. Do not try this one!

Yeah ok it is a big Chinese buffet and it is quick food if you are on a hurry, but the food has no flavor, I don’t even know what is in this sushi right now, and there is an odd smell in the tiki patio seating area. The hibachi chef is great and it is the best food because it is made to order and hot. It’s a good place for a quick lunch or a last minute dinner idea. Clean floors and ledges and dinnerware. Service ok.

All right so I do not know if it is just the friggin Kentucky weather and humidity or just a bad experience with this place. I feel so sick right now. Let me explain. When I entered this place, the atmosphere and all was great. Okay check. I was greeted by the staff, asked what I wanted to drink, and seated promptly. Check The food is really questionable. Of course when I step into some place new, I always have to make a fool out of myself. The example of this, at this place, is that I go to the hibachi portion of the buffet(first area on the left) and scoop up noodles. Knowing that I wanted hibachi, the waitress yells at someone to man it. While I am making my way around to get to the sushi bar, the waitress comes up and she is like«Those noodles not good. Take in another plate.» I finally realized that I had thought the noodles were cooked and walked to the next section. I quickly smoothed talked my way by saying«No I was just waiting for someone to get to the hibachi. I know that.» Sadly, I did not. After the sushi portion(4 kinds of sushi rolls btw), I get to a Mexican portion with a Taco that looks more like a taquito and they referred to a piece of fried chicken as «Buffalo Wild Wings». That piece of chicken does not taste anywhere near the quality of a chicken wing from buffalo wild wings. The taquito shell was hard and whatever was inside was really dry. Not even close to the typical Mexican-American resemblance. Positive was they had catfish and TILAPIA!!! First time I had seen grilled Tilapia at a buffet! Woot! Of course then you keep going and you have all your Chinese seasoned chickens, noodles, and rice. When I tasted the chicken though, they all seemed very low quality. What I mean by that is, many tendons and ligaments were to be spat out into a stack of 8 napkins they left me with. After finishing this, out of the fact that I hate wasting anything, I got myself some dessert of flan and two orange slices. Everything else looked all right, but I was about to burst of vomit and I thought it best to eat something good tasting to mask everything before it. Oranges were to add some extra acid to break stuff down. They refill on the drinks which is great and after I had chosen all my toppings for the Hibachi, it was all right as well. Overall, atmosphere and customer service was great; but the meat quality is lacking. I felt like I had a taste and smell of that weird static from electronics that you get when you are close up to them. Never a good sign. Now I am trying not to vomit. I hate throwing up and it scares me greatly to do so. $ 10.00 including tip, drink, and $ 5.99 buffet, was not worth it. URP!

Yes, this too is a generic Chinese buffet with Americanized, fusion food plus a hibachi table. But what distinguishes them from the other generic buffets is that they also offer some stuff that cannot be found at the other places. There are a dozen of so small steamers that hold these«different» stuff. I’m sure the selection will change day by day. During the Monday I had lunch there, I saw: clams in black bean sauce; chicken feet; riblets, char siu bao and others. Okay, these are not of the best quality Asian foods I have had. But when I crave quick, cheap Asian food; and that Golden Corral across the street simply won’t do, I’ll happily head over to this Supreme Buffet.

Seriously people it’s a Chinese buffet on the north side of Lexington. It’s eatable, it’s hot and it’s not expensive. Would I take a first date here? If I wanted that to be the last date I had with that person, absolutely. If I wanted to pig out on a Sunday between football games and I am sick of pizza and wings, then yes, this is where I would head to. My family of five can eat for under $ 55 total and each one of the kids comes away full and cannot complain they couldn’t find something on the buffets. It’s easy, fast and inexpensive and therefore I find this place A-OK. Why? Because I am realistic. So, if you want some amazing buffet experience that is five star look elsewhere. If you want to get in, get your food, not break the bank and get out, then give this place a try.

Large Chinese buffets tend to be bad because it is challenging to maintain freshness and quality of many foods exposed to the public. Supreme Hibachi is particularly awful. The Chinese dishes were overly salty. The sushi was mediocre and not particularly fresh. The dumplings appeared to be a bag of frozen dumplings they had steamed. Nothing was better than mediocre. I did not try the hibachi. Perhaps it is better. Certainly there are better Chinese buffets and food in Lexington.

Food was mediocre. Crab meat is imitation and I’ve had better store bought imitation crab. Best thing I had was ice cream and the honey chicken.

Amazing service. They kept our drinks full and took empty plates promptly. Varied items, not your run of the mill buffet. More traditional: steamed mussels, craw fish, salmon. They have a ton of food, available as an all-you-can-eat buffet. A very good variety of Chinese dishes, and fresh cuts of meat for carving. The Hibachi was fantastic, you have a nice selection of good cuts of meat and all the veggies you would expect at a $ 20 or more Hibachi restaurant, but you get to custom design your meal. The Grill guy then cooks up your picks and in 3 minutes you have a fresh very tasty meal. They also have a chocolate fountain where you can dip banana, pineapple or strawberries into. Also unlike most buffet where they only serve one or two flavors of soft ice cream, here they serve real ice cream with eight flavors.
